중학교의 학교상담 인식에 대한 요구분석 (Needs Analysis on Perception of School Counseling in the Middle School Counseling Psychology)

초록

본 연구는 중학교 교사와 학생의 상담실태 및 상담요구를 조사하여, 교사와 학생간의 상담이 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하고, 학교상담활성화를 돕기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 위 연구방법을 중심으로 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 학생과 교사가 인식한 중학교 상담활동실태를 보면 상담 실태 상담동기, 고민문제, 고민해결방법, 상담내용, 상담실 여부와 상담실 홍보는 성별과 유의한 차이로 나타났다. 또한 상담을 하고 싶은 대상, 현재 고민 내용, 학교에서 상담대상, 교사와 상담한 내용, 상담의 효과성, 상담이 도움이 안 되는 이유, 학교상담실 여부, 상담실 이용방법은 학년별로 유의한 차이를 보였다.
둘째, 교사가 인식한 상담의 실태를 보면 성별, 경력에 따라 상담자를 선택할 때 염두해 두는 것과, 주중 상담횟수와 상담 연수나 교육, 상담활동을 위한 지식, 기술을 얻는 곳도 유의한 차이를 보였다.
셋째, 학교상담에 관한 학생들의 인식을 보면 학교상담활동 필요성, 상담활동의 여부, 상담교사의 역할, 상담자를 선택한 이유는 성별에 따른 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 학교생활에서의 상담활동의 필요성 여부와 학교상담활동 평가, 상담실의 역할에 관해서는 학년별로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다.
넷째, 학교상담에 대한 학생들의 요구 및 활성화 방안을 보면 상담 장소, 소유시간. 원하는 상담 형태, 상담교사의 성별, 상담교사의 유형, 학교상담활동 필요성, 상담활동에 대한 평가, 상담교사의 역할, 원활한 상담이 되기 위한 요소는 성별에 따른 유의를 보였고, 상담내용과 상담교사의 성별은 학년에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to research the present condition and needs of middle school counseling and then facilitate effective counseling between teachers and students.
The research question to achieve the purpose of this study is as follows: Firstly, the present condition of middle school counseling activities that teachers and students are aware of indicates that present counseling condition, counseling motivation, problems, solutions to problems, counseling contents, existence and publicity of a counseling center are significantly related to sex of students. In addition, who they want to ask for counseling, current worries, who they take counsel with in school, what they talked about with their teacher, how effective counseling is, why counseling is not helpful, whether or not there is a counseling center in the school, and how they use a counseling center are significantly related to age of students.
Secondly, the present condition of counseling that teachers are aware of significantly indicates that when they choose a school counselor, teachers consider not only sex and working experience but also the number of counseling during the week, counseling training or education and the place to acquire knowledge and techniques needed for counseling.
Thirdly, the students' awareness of school counseling indicates that the necessity for school counseling activities, experience of counseling activities, roles of school counselors, reasons of choosing a counselor are significantly related to sex of students. The need of counseling activities in school life, evaluation of school counseling activities and roles of a counseling center are significantly related to age of students.
Fourth, considering students' needs and promotional strategies for school counseling, a place and time for counseling, counseling forms, sex of counselors, types of counselors, necessity of counseling activities, evaluation of counseling activities, roles of counselors, and factors to make counseling effective are significantly related to sex of students, and counseling content and sex of counselors are significantly related to age of students.
