기관변인에 따른 5세 유아의 문제행동 (A Study on the Behavioral Problem of 5-year-old Children According to Variables of Early Child Educational Institution)

초록

본 연구는 기관변인 즉, 기관 유형, 프로그램 특성 그리고 기관운영시간에 따른 유아의 문제행동을 분석하고자 하였다. 수집된 자료는 5세 유아 문제행동에 관한 설문지 730부로, 이를 SPSS WIN 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t검증과 일원배치 분산분석(ANOVA)을 실시하였다.
연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기관유형에 따라 유아의 문제행동의 점수는 공립어린이집, 민간어린이집, 사립유치원, 공립유치원 순서로 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 특별활동 갯수가 많을수록 문제행동점수가 유의미하게, 실외시간은 짧을수록 문제행동점수가 부분적으로 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 기관운영시간이 길수록 문제행동점수가 유의미하게 높게 나타났으며, 그리고 현 재원기간이 짧을수록 문제행동점수가 부분적으로 유의미하게 나타났다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate variables of early child educational institution affecting behavior problem of children attending child-care center and kindergarten. The subjects of this study were 730 5-year-old children. Data were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA using SPSS WIN 12.0 program.
The results of this study were as follows :
1) The results showed that types of early child educational institution were significantly related to categories of behavioral problem of young children. The extremely much behavior problems were found in pubic child-care center, and after pubic child-care center, the more frequency of behavior problems appeared in the order of private pubic day care center, private kindergarten, and public kindergarten.
2) The results showed that extracurricular activities and outdoor play time were significantly related to categories of behavioral problem of young children. The more extracurricular activities and the less outdoor play time early child educational institution implemented, the more behavior problems of young children were found.
3) The results showed that daily staying time and the total period of attendance were significantly related to categories of behavioral problems of young children. The more daily staying time, the more behavior problems of young children were found. From 3 years of period of attendance, behavioral problems of young children began to increase. Lastly study's results are discussed and suggestion made for further studies.
