융합적 사고의 재개념화: 재해석된 통찰을 중심으로 (Reconceptualization of Convergent Thinking: Focusing on reinterpreted insight)

초록

목적 본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정에서 추상적 의미지움에 머무르고 있는 융합적 사고를 보다 구체화하기 위해 통찰론을 토대로융합적 사고를 재개념화 한 것이다.
방법 문헌연구를 통해 통찰에 관한 심리학적 인식이 대립된 형태로 나타나고 있음을 확인한 후, 비판적 검토를 통해 기존의 인식양상은 서로 밀접히 관련된 것으로 각 쟁점들은 통찰의 주변적 요소에 불과함을 지적하였다. 이에 보다 핵심적인 요소들을 중심으로통찰 발생의 인지적 과정을 재해석하여 융합적 사고의 세부 과정에 적용할 수 있는 이론적 시사점을 확보하였다. 이후에는 확보된시사점을 토대로 융합적 사고의 세부 과정과 의미를 구체화하고, 이를 실제 수업에 적용하여 융합적 사고의 단계별 실행 과정을 분석하였다.
결과 첫째, 재해석된 통찰은 선택적 주의 및 그것의 전환과 재구조화를 핵심 기능으로 포함하는 성찰적인 선택적 지각 능력으로서, 지식의 융합을 통해 의미있는 결과물 산출을 추구하는 융합적 사고의 세부 과정 구체화에 이론적 근거를 제시하였다. 둘째, 재해석된통찰을 토대로 융합적 사고는 ‘문제직면 - 1차 인식틀 구성 - 1차 문제인식 및 해결방안 도출 - 2차 인식틀 구성(선택적 주의 전환) - 2차 인식틀 구성(재구조화) - 2차 문제인식 및 해결방안 도출’의 반복적이고 순환적인 여섯 단계로 구체화 되었다. 셋째, 이러한융합적 사고의 세부 과정은 실제 수업에서 지식과 지각의 정합적 처리를 통해 더 적절한 문제인식과 해결방안을 도출하였다.
결론 융합적 사고는 지식과 지각 상호 간의 정합적 관계형성에 관한 고찰로서, 학습자의 내면과 환경에 존재하는 다양한 지식 가운데적절한 지식을 탐색하여 적합한 인식틀을 구성하고 이를 통해 최선의 문제이해와 해결을 추구하는 성찰적인 선택적 지각 능력이다.
이러한 융합적 사고는 선택적 주의 및 그것의 전환과 재구조화 기능을 주요 과정으로 포함한다.

영어초록

Objectives This study reconceptualizes Convergent Thinking based on insight to further concretize Convergent Thinking, which remains in abstract meaning in the 2015 revised curriculum.
Methods After confirming that the psychological perception of insight appeared in opposing forms through literature study, through a critical review, it was pointed out that the existing cognitive aspects are closely related to each other and that each issue is only a peripheral element of insight. Accordingly, theoretical implications that can be applied to the detailed process of Convergent Thinking were secured by reinterpreting the cognitive process of insight generation focusing on more core elements. Afterwards, based on the secured implication, the detailed process and meaning of Convergent Thinking were specified and applied to actual classes to analyze the step-by-step execution process of Convergent Thinking.
Results First, reinterpreted insight is a reflective selective perceptual ability that includes selective attention and its conversion and restructuring as key functions, and provides a rationale for the detailed process of Convergent Thinking that seeks to produce meaningful results through knowledge convergence. Second, based on the reinterpreted insight, Convergent Thinking is ‘Facing the problem - 1st frame of recognition - 1st problem recognition and solution derivation - 2nd frame of recognition (selective attention shift) - 2nd frame of recognition (restructuring)) - Secondary problem recognition and solution derivation’ was embodied in six repetitive and repetitive steps. Third, this detailed process of Convergent Thinking led to more appropriate problem recognition and solution through coherent processing of knowledge and perception in actual class.
Conclusions Convergent thinking is a consideration of the formation of a coherent relationship between knowledge and perception, and is a reflective selective perception ability that constructs an appropriate cognitive framework and seeks to understand and solve the best problem by exploring appropriate knowledge among various knowledge existing in the learner's inner and environment. This Convergent Thinking includes selective attention and its conversion and restructuring functions as major processes.
