장애영유아 부모의 보육 및 특수교육 관련서비스 지원 욕구 (Study on Needs for Special Education Related Services and Child-Care of Parents of Young Children with Disabilities in Urban and Rural Area)

초록

본 연구는 K도 소재 장애전담 및 장애통합 어린이집에 재원 중인 장애영유아 부모들을 대상으로 보육 및 특수교육 관련서비스 지원 욕구를 분석하고자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대부분 어머니가 방과후 장애영유아를 보호하고 있었으며, 어린이집에 대한 세부만족도는 대부분 높게 나타났다. 재활치료 및 치료지원은 특수교육 클리닉에서 언어치료를 주 1회 받고 있었으며, 참여비용의 과다를 문제점으로 지적하였다. 완전통합보육을 선호하였으며, 장애영유아의 사회·정서적 발달을 위해 특수교육 관련서비스가 필요하다고 하였다. 또한 특수교육 클리닉에서 양질의 프로그램을 장애영유아에 대한 존중과 이해심을 가진 치료사가 시행하는 것을 선호하였다. 그리고 개별 및 집단지도 형태로 전액 국가 부담으로 주 3회 1시간씩의 재활치료 및 치료지원을 받는 것을 선호하였다. 특수교육 관련서비스 중에서 치료지원이 재활치료 및 치료지원에서는 언어치료에 대한 욕구가 가장 높게 나타났다. 시급히 해결해야 할 과제로는 특수교사 및 치료사의 배치 확대를 지적하였으며, 초등학교에 진학하기 전에 받아야할 서비스로는 재활치료 서비스가 가장 많았다.

영어초록

This study conducted the questionnaire of parents of young children with disability who were enrolled in specialized and inclusive child-care centers located in K district, in order to analyze the needs to support the special education related services and child-care. The findings of this study suggest that most of mothers took care of young children with disabilities after child-care center, and detailed satisfaction of child-care center is usually high. Through the rehabilitation programs and therapy supports, young children with disabilities were receiving the language therapy once a week in the special education clinic, and the expensive participation expense was indicated as a problem. The full integrated child-care was favored and some special education related services were needed for the social and emotional development of young children with disabilities. And it was desired that the high-quality programs could be conducted by the therapist with understanding and respect for young children with disabilities in the special education clinic. Moreover, it was preferred that young children with disabilities might receive the rehabilitation programs and therapy supports with individual/collective instruction forms and the full states' financial support, 1 hour a day, 3 times a week. Among some special education related services, the needs for language therapy were highest in rehabilitation programs therapy supports. The extended arrangement of early childhood special education teachers and therapists was indicated as the task to be solved ungently, and rehabilitation therapy service was considered as the service to be most often received by young children with disabilities before going on to an elementary school.
