These days, everything is evaluated. For example, products, land, animals, even people are evaluated. This is inevitable in a competitive society. Teachers cannot excluded from the rule. Now the "teacher evaluation program" comes into operation in 67 schools (including elementary, middle school and high school) in Korea by way of showing an example. Parents of students are for this program, and they want to rapidly spread this program all over the country, Korea. The reason why parents of students are for this program is they think this program help their children`s education to improve educational system. However most teachers are against this program, because teachers worry about the decline of teacher`s authority. I think the "teacher evaluation program" is a very wise policy for a desirable educational system. From now on the "teacher evaluations program" should be carried out to achieve a excellent educational system.

Some people may object to my opinion. They think the program is ridiculous and does not make sense. Not only my parents but also many other teachers who have joined `Korean Teachers & Educational Worker`s Union` think so. The reason why they think that way is they worry about the decline of teacher`s authority. However, I do not agree with them. Declining teacher`s authority is not caused by student`s attitude, but by teachers` lack of qualifications. On the contrary,
