연산 문장제 검사를 통한 경도 정신지체아동의 지능과 근접발달대의 상관관계 분석 (The Analysis of Relation ships between Intelligibility and the Zone of Proximal Development of Children with Mental Retardation on Story Problems with Operation)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 정신지체아동의 지능과 근접발달대의 상관관계를 규명하기 위함이었다. 검사도구로 사용된 연산 문장제 검사 12문항은 학습과 관련된 6문항과전이를 요하는 6문항으로 구성되었다. 연구대상은 지능지수가 75에서 50사이의 경도정신지체아동 20명이었다. 연산 문장제 문제를 해결하는 동안 제공된 단서량과소요된 시간량을 측정한 결과, 학습 문항과 전이 문항을 해결하는데 제공된 단서량과 시간량은 정신지체아동의 지능과 유의한 상관성이 없었다. 또한 정신지체아동의 지능은 근접발달대와 유의한 상관관계가 없었다. 결과적으로 정신지체아동의 잠재능력 개발은 지능지수에 의한 예견보다는 적절한 교육방법의 제시와 전략적 접근이 우선되어야 함을 본 연구는 시사하고 있다.

영어초록

Most educators who are working for children with mental retardation may hav e an interest in effective education methods and strategies to improve latent ability for children with mental retardation . The purpose of this study was to analysis the correlation between intelligibility and the zone of proximal development (ZPD). The story problems with operation which are consisted with twelve questions(six learning and six transfer questions) were developed for the research . The reliability of the test material was obtained through test - retest correlation coefficient by using three different elementary grades. 105 children who are in attendance at the second, third, and fourth grades . The test - retest correlation coefficient was.79. Twenty eleven - to twelve- years mental retarded children who are IQ of 75 to 50. When the ment alretarded children were solving the questions , the number of hint and the amount of time were measured.
In order to test correlation and correlation coefficient, ANOVA and correlation coefficient were utilized to measure two research hypotheses. The result of r elation ships between the intelligibility and the number of hint and the amount of time was not statistically significant at the.01 level. Also, the result of correlation coefficient was not significant ly different. Therefore, this research concluded that the intelligibility is children with mental retardation not related with the ZPD. It means that latent ability of children with mental retardation is related with effective education methods and strategies rather than intelligibility it self.
