자산재평가 기업의 경영자 예측정보에 관한 연구 (The Study on Management Forecasts Information Asset Revaluation of Firm)

초록

본 연구는 국제회계기준 적용으로 자산재평가를 통한 공정가치가 회계정보의 유용성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 실증분석하였다. 자산재평가 기업의 경영자 예측정보에 대한 정보효과를 분석하기 위해 국제회계기준 도입이후 국제회계기준을 적용하여 자산재평가모형에 따라 자산을 재평가한 기업들의 경영자 예측정보와 공시일 기준의 누적초과수익률을 분석하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 유가증권시장에 등록되어 공시가 의무적인 자산재평가 기업 중 2009년부터 2012년 12월까지 한국채택 국제회계기준을 적용하여 자산재평가 결과를 공시한 427개 기업 중 경영자 예측정보를 공시한 416개 기업을 최종 표본으로 선정하여 실증분석하였다.
본 연구 분석결과 첫째, 자산재평가 모형을 선택하여 자산을 재평가한 후에 자산재평가차액이 크면 클수록 누적초과수익률이 높은 것으로 나타나 자산재평가 공시가 기업가치를 높이는데 관련성이 있다는 의미한다. 둘째, 부채비율의 크기는 작을수록, 기업규모는 클수록 경영자 예측정보의 정보비대칭성이 감소하는 것으로 나타나 경영자 예측정보의 신뢰성을 높이는데 부채비율과 기업규모도 관련성이 있다는 것을 의미한다. 주가수익률의 변동성이 클수록 경영자 예측정보의 정보비대칭성이 높은 것으로 나타나 경영자 예측정보의 신뢰성이 낮아질 수 있다는 것을 의미한다.
본 연구 결과 자산재평가 기업들의 기업특성 변수를 고려하지 못한 점과 적용기업의 최근성에 제한된 점 등에 한계점이 있지만 자산재평가가 누적초과수익률을 높이고 경영자의 긍정적인 예측정보에 대한 정보비대칭성을 감소시킴으로서 회계정보의 신뢰성을 높일 수 있다는 검증결과를 통하여 자산재평가 기업의 경영자예측정보가 회계정보이용자들의 목적적합성을 높일 수 있다는 근거를 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영어초록

The greater the volatility of stock returns of management forecasts appear to be high information asymmetry may decrease the reliability of predictive information management means thatThis study of revaluation results variables into account the characteristics of companies that do not apply to companies with a limited point of recently revaluation of limitations, but to improve the management of the cumulative abnormal returns for positive forecasts by reducing information asymmetry and accounting information increase the reliability of the results can be verified through a revaluation of the company's management forecasts increasing relevance of accounting information users can be proposed based on the significance of a point.
