장애영유아 어린이집의 보육프로그램 운영 실태 (An Analysis on Current State of Educare Program Implementation of Child Care Centers for Children with Disabilities)

초록

본 연구는 장애영유아 어린이집의 보육프로그램 운영 실태를 알아보기 위하여 보육프로그램의 개발, 치료지원활동, 보육프로그램의 운영과 평가 영역의 실태를 연구 문제로 선정하여 대구, 경북, 부산, 경남 장애전담 어린이집 80개를 대상으로 조사 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 어린이집들은 표준보육과정과 장애아 보육프로그램 등에 토대하여 보육프로그램을 개발하고 있으며, 2세 미만과 2세 과정에서는 기본생활 영역과 신체활동 영역을 강조하는데 비해 3-5세 과정에서는 사회생활 영역과 의사소통 영역을 강조하였다.
둘째, 치료지원활동 계획은 대개 아동 개인별로 수립하고 있으며, 제공하는 치료지원활동 서비스의 종류는 다양하지만 언어치료, 작업치료, 인지학습치료 등을 다른 치료지원 서비스보다 많이 제공하는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 보육프로그램을 운영할 때는 유아의 발달 수준을 가장 많이 고려하며, 대다수의 어린이집들이 연령별, 수준별로 보육프로그램을 편성ㆍ운영하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 보육프로그램 운영에 대한 평가는 보육프로그램 운영의 효과성, 실시과정의 적절성, 보육내용 선정의 적합성 등을 중심으로 1년에 2번 이상 실시하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영어초록

This research has been conducted to investigate the current state of Educare program Implementation of Child Care Centers for children with disability. In doing so, there has been analysis carried out on development of Educare program, therapeutic support activity, operating and evaluating Educare program. The summary of research results is as follows.
Firstly, the nurseries, which have been studied in this paper, have been developing Educare program on their own based on standard curriculum and Educare program for children with disability and the major form of reformation of standard Educare curriculum has been appeared to be modifying education curriculum. Further, the area by which Implementation of Educare program focused are as follows: less than 2 years old, 2 years old which emphasizes physical activity, 3-5 years old which puts importance on social life and communication.
Secondly, therapeutic support activity plan is established according to each child. In addition, the services provided for such activity vary but there is more emphasis on speech therapy compared to the other ones. The time-organization for the activity differs for each child but the activity has been found to be implemented for more than three times a week on average.
Thirdly, the prior focusing-points for operating Educare program is developmental stage of children and the Implementation mechanism is established according to age, and level of children by the majority of nurseries. Further, the evaluation of Educare program is carried out more than two times a year focusing on efficiency of the program's Implementation, suitability of the operating process and suitability of selecting contents.
Finally, the evaluation on learning and development of children with disability is implemented focusing on children's achievement according to criteria of each child care centers, the result of evaluation is utilized for establishing individualized education, seeking effective education method, next-year's education process planning, data for communication between staff and parents in various ways
