Wireless Internet.Korean birthday customsRelaxing at home10. How to improve English1.Moving DayToday is our moving day. My family moved to Wonju city. Before we lived in Yecheon real country side. There we didn’t even have a mall or hamburger shop. Oh, there was actually one. Lotteria. But the hamburger there is not delicious at all. I think Burger King is the best! Sometimes Mc Donald is good too. Anyway, before I moved here I used to come down to Yecheon during the break. I spend only few months but it was always boring and no fun at all.However, this city is just perfect! Just because it’s a city! Lots of cafés and clothing shops, libraries, museums.And Wonju is close to Seoul. It takes only 1:30 to Bus Terminal. And I heard there are many nice restaurants here. I think I have seen it from TV earlier. Anyway, And I should bring somebody to hospital if I go to hospital next time. And I should be sick during the week days! Haha! I think I should work out more and eat well not to get sick any more.3.I have a niece!I was so happy to hear that my cousin had a baby girl last week. I was so excited to hear that. She is the only one married in whole family.So my family went to the hospital to see the baby.Mom got some gifts for a baby and baby’s mom.It was my first time to see a new born baby. You know what? I was actually got shocked and couldn’t even tell my cousin that a baby is pretty or cute!Because that new born baby was reallllllllly realllllly ugly. T.T Oh my god! I was actually so shocked!Her skin was so red and winkled everywhere. And some white stuff was all covered on her face.But my daddy and mommy were astonished and keep saying “She’s adorable! She’s an angel! And looks like mom!” Oh.. I think they are a world best liar!!I think I visited the hospital too early. Ands like a little apple tree. So adorable. Many flowers, of course, many butterflies. Many birds are chirping in the sky. It’s just like Heaven. I think any café visitors might feel happy when he or she just stepped into that garden. I ordered grapefruit-ade. Reasonable price and even delicious. Yay!I also thought one day, one day I want to live in a house like this. Build a wooden house and large front garden. I heard in America this kind of house is very common. I guess in decade people in Korea will also prefer to live in those houses and living culture will be changed. It’s just my thought.Anyway, traveling other province is also good experience and relaxing in good café is also very attractive. A butterfly just flew toward me and landed on my laptop. Amazing!!It’s much better than spending money on Starbucks latte. I’ve got to tell my friends to visit here once if they visit Wonju city. The owner told me there are many good restaurants along this village. Next time I will visit hereking down at their mobile on that precious moment. Birthday boy was so disappointed and sad. This is the other side of using fast wireless internet in Korea.You could report and upload some urgent events right on your SNS. But sometimes we use it too much and forget about the moment we are with our friends.Anyway, what’s famous in Korea? I think wireless internet access is one of it.I heard other country it’s hard to access to internet so, Korean visitors have difficulties accessing to internet. Some says they even have to pay for accessing internet on café. It never happens in Korea. If people can’t access to internet in café, this can be a big complaint. Other country people wouldn’t believe this.8.Korean birthday customsI think Korean have unique birthday customs. I think it’s more like crazy customs. When it’s someone’s birthday, we have sort of birthday prank. Boys beat the birthday boy on the floor. I haven’t seen girls beat up on the floor but I have seen boys doing that quite oriends or go to library. No time to watch TV.My mom is more like a couch potato at home. Mom and daddy often have quarrel on TV channels. Mom wants MBC drama but daddy wants KBS. Mom wins all the time. Poor daddy! I heard these days you can watch both channels at once. Of course one can’t have audio service. But still you are watching it and can consume the story. So brilliant!!Anyway, thinking of a couch potato. I suddenly want to become a lazy boy! This is I guess the most relaxing way you can do at home. Some say Sleeping is the best but I think it’s wasting time. I never slept more than 10 hours. Is it very long hours?? Anyway, I prefer watching TV than sleeping. These days the quality of cable channels is very high. Cable channels are chasing the 3 major broadcasting companies on program rating. The more cable channels, the more fun we have at home. I used to watch only EBS at home when I was teenage, But no more. I think I’d better not going out this weekend and doing this whole

Time flies!! In two weeks I have to go back to school again. Don’t know what I have done this summer. I guess no other guys played so hard like me. I almost spent half of my summer at sea side. And I also visited water parks over ten times. My skin got tanned and I just look like I’m a worker from some other Asian country. But it’s okay. No regrets! I did what I wanted to do whole this summer. I spent a lot and I also earned a lot. Good thing that living near the sea area is pretty good at making money in summer. I and my friends worked so hard gathering people or picking up peoplty!Day2Registered an English academyI registered an English academy near my school. And I am back to the reality. I just had an interview with foreigner. She was so beautiful and spoke an alien language to me. She’s from Aussie. I hardly understood her accent. I am used to listening at American accent. I am not saying that I am good at English. Since middle school all of our LC audio was American. My English accent? It’s definitely Korean accent. But it’s not that serious. I used to study Yoon Teacher English for almost 5 years. I think it kind of helped me a lot at pronouncing English. But back to those days, it bothered me a lot. I hated listening and repeating and the most terrible thing was picking up the phone every morning. I think it’s the most horrible program in the world. Why are you reducing my sleeping hour? I was thinking like that every morning. But it seems like it wasn’t total wasting time. The Aussie female teacher told me that my English isn’t that bad. And I was posiliar! So, what would I do without him? I need to make new school buddy. I have many friends but I don’t usually gather with them. Or may this semester I should make a girlfriend. Will that be bothered to live? Well I don’t know. We’ll see what happens. Anyway, I am so shocked and mad so I think I’ve got to deal with my stress. I think it’s perfect time for PC game. Just across the street, there is a good PC café that I used to go every week. I am back to my town. And let’s kill some time by shooting. If mommy finds out that I am playing gun games, she will kill me before I logout. I have to act like I am studying in the library. So I think I’d better call her first before she calls me. And tell her I need some side dishes and need some money. Ah.. I am such a bad son. But she will understand me at the end. Because I will win the scholarship again this semester. Okay. Let’s just spend 3 hours and come back home. Living alone in Seoul is such a paradise for me. And I love being alone like. Yay! Came back to school and I couldn’t even take out my cell phone in the crowds. Almost 90% of.. no I guess it’s more than that. Almost all of people are using smart phone. Except me. That’s so ridiculous. Until last semester it wasn’t that used among students but this semester, things are different. Mine still had few more months to be paid but I had to pay them back and got the i-phone. I was actually waiting for i-phone 5 to released but there’s no news from Apple Inc. So I just had to get 4 instead of 5. Mom doesn’t know I changed my cell phone. I got some pocket money from grandmother when I left home. This is secret between me and grandma. She always gives me pocket money. I really love her. This semester she also didn’t forget that and gave me 500,000 won. I used half of that money to pay back for my old cell phone. And I will use half of it to pay coming bill. Smart phone bill is quite expensive. But if I use good and useful apps I can save calling fee and texting fee. Andone girl. So she’s just sitting and scanning the codes and putting some information into the computer. Damn! I think this isn’t fair at all! All guys are working moving books and going up and down the stairs. But this girl is just sitting for hours and just watching the computer. The other guys told me that she’s working here for almost 2 years so she’s almost boss among us. Well, well,, she definitely looks younger than me. I’ve got to change the time shift. Hope I can sit in there and scan the codes stuff. That will be much easier and maybe I can get some phone numbers of someone I checked out. Haha! Whatever.. hope this semester isn’t that boring. It should be very productive and fun! 영어레벨English Diary 24 Days!!Day 1Soap DramaI think Korea soap dramas are well developed and they’re the world best!.Every Monday to Sunday, fun and amazing stories are waiting for us.There are 3 major broadcasting companies in Korea.MBC, KBS, SBS are the one. Sometimes their drams are all good and it’s very hard to choose what to watch. Some of my friends are watching all of them. I really envy them. Don’t know how they manage their time that well and watch all of them. But I am probably sure that they are just wasting times. Just watching dramas and not thinking.I like American soap dramas too. “Desperate housewives” and “Gossip girls” are my favorite. I think I would rather watch American one instead of watching Korean soap dramas.I enjoy watching and at the same time I can upgrade my English. There are so many new words I need to study but that’s ok! At least I can study my listening skill and if I repeat after some of the lines I would upgrade my pronunciations too.Many of my friendll know about America and Japan’s national flower as common knowledge. How come we didn’t even look up the dictionary to find out 무궁화 in English? We were just so indifferent! I realized that if our mind and care is just short like this, we might lose our Dokdo to Japan. I heard they are really struggling to get Dokdo. Koreans tend to emotionally react to this problem. I think this is really bad and it will cause serious outcomes at the end. I heard Japan do a lot of lobby through out the world to get Dokdo. The international law court or something! There they even have Japanese who can vote for their side but we’ve got nothing! We have a lot of historical evidence but I heard Japan has more actions and historical evidence after Korean war or something. Still I have not enough knowledge about Dokdo. I think majority of my friends are same as me. We had no chance to learn that Dokdo is officially belongs to Korea. We just learned it from the song or just heard that Dokdo is ours. I think we find ramen, and when we don’t have time we also eat ramen, and even when we go to the camp we cook ramen. Eating ramen outside is very easy and convenient and more delicious! I don’t know why! But we all think like that. And even men can cook ramen so easily. I think the creator is so genius. And I heard some of foreigners love ramen they take boxes of ramen to their country. Heard the price is expensive in their country so they buy in bulk and take them home. Ramen is patriot. My favorite ramen is “An sung tang myun” Its history is the longest and the taste is just perfect. Soup also taste fresh and not that spicy. I don’t like too much spicy food. I think I can eat this for whole week or month. Of course, when you have ramen you should have with kimchi! And cold rice stir with the soup! Yummy~ I am hungry again. It’s already over 10! Come on you should lose weight! No more food after 7! Why am I talking about ramen all of sudden? Today at lunch time me and my friend, we had ramen it. On the way home, I cried a lot. We used to hang out all the time. I will be so lonely if she leaves. Aww.. left one is always sad and feel down. Don’t know how to overcome this loneliness.Day 16Ice AmericanoI used to drink only caramel latte with whipping cream on. But today I don’t know why but I just wanted to try ice Americano. Weather maybe?? I went to coffee shop alone and ordered. This is my first time visiting there all by myself! I think I am sick… Am I sick????? Um… Growing up??? Just without any reason today I enjoyed sitting in the café drinking Americano. Haha. Sounds like I am such a “dwenjang girl.” I brought my laptop. Internet is free there so it’s so good to spend time. They also have some magazines so I spent almost an hour and half there.It was my first ice Americano and first sitting alone in café. I should celebrate the day! So I am writing a diary. So juvenile!! Silly me! Haha The taste was a bit bitter but okay! I kind of loved it! It’s even low calories! Whps. I order a combo menu and get the free coca cola cups. This year is somewhat special. Last year one was just one colored one just like the glass bottle coke. But this year they made 6 different colors of glasses. And today I got the purple one. My friend, Buzz got me a combo and a glass for me. I was so happy about it! And he told me that there were lots of people lining up to get that event cup! And he told me that some mommies argued each other to get the color they wanted. So hilarious!Anyway this year also I collected coca cola, I have more than 10 cups in my room. Mommy always tells me to dump them. And I am so stressed out for her. I think I need to lock my room when I’m out. I kind of feel like she really will toss out my glasses while I’m out. So scary.I just like collecting them. It’s sort of my year plan and my hobby. When I was young I used to play outside whole day in snowy day.We would make snowman and do snow fight.For a long time I haven’t played like old days.So I decided to go out. Daddy and mommy also joined with me.It was a wonderful night. English Diary(23 days)영어일기 23일분#1 MondayIt’s Monday. As usual I am so tired. Mondays is always like that.Yesterday we went to Daegu for my cousin’s wedding. It was such a long trip. Cheongju to Daegu takes almost 2 hours. Daddy drunk a lot the day before so mommy drove. She drove a car like a grandmother. So slow!! So we actually arrived there 1 hour late.But on the way, we dropped by highway store and ate O-deng, and jipo. It’s my favorite. I like junkfood a lot. But mommy yelled at me. She says if I eat them a lot I will become an idiot. I don’t understand her. Why is she telling me a lie? Or is it true? When we arrived in Daegu, we had a very hard traffic jam. Daddy woke up and he was so nervous. Because we are so late!But I didn’t care. It’s not my wedding so. I am fine.Wedding buffet was as bad as school cafeteria. I was so sad. I wanted to eat Odeng and jipo and soda again. Mommy said “No!”. I was so sad. I just ate some mini cakes and just walked around the wedding hall. I saw mth you?” I think mom is the one who’s wrong.Phone rang and mom’s voiced changed. So nicely.. and she never farts in front of people.Hope she makes a huge mistakes and fart in front of people. They should know that mommy is not always calm and elegant. She’s ego, smelly ajumma.#6 DreamI want to be a English teacher. I like studying English and speaking English. My mom used to teach English and studied in America when she was young. So that’s why my English score is higher than math. Anyway, English is fun. Grammar is very difficult but I love studying English.Today mom asked me what I want to be in the future. “English teacher” just came out of my mouth. It was so interesting. Do I really want to be a teacher? School teacher? Or academy teacher? I don’t like both. I want to be a teacher on TV show. If I am on TV I will earn money a lot and I will travel all around the world. I also want to meet a foreigner a lot.So from today I will write English diary more often and will try to memorizt to do is check it! I truly want to have I-phone!Our computer is in the living room, I only can use the computer when I am done with my homework or job. If I get the I-phone, it will be like heaven for me. I can do all kinds of stuff secretly in my room! I will persuade him and will hold the I-phone in my hand within this month. I can cry 20 hours for that too. Wish me luck! I will go to church this weekend. Ah~ I-phone.. please, come to me~#11 BoyfriendI used to know this boy for long time. But we never talked. We both kind of know each other but we don’t know each other. And today something happened. I was on my way to academy and there were boys playing on the streets playing soccer. And for about a minute or so, I was blank. I was hit by the ball. I was bleeding.. it wasn’t my forehead..wasn’t my cheek… I could feel something coming down to my mouth.What a shame… I got a big nosebleed… both of nostrils…It didn’t hurt at first.. I was just embarrassed. Was looking for somebody I knchael Jacksons and Jason Mraz. But his lyrics are so good but it’s soooooooo fast to catch up. I think he’s a genius!! I will let know this singer to my friends. They will love it. So I guess for a month, I will be into this listening Jason Mraz and study English. Thank you daddy! But I didn’t give up! I need I phone too~#15 inline skatingIn front of my house there is a huge gym(체육관) opened. There are all kinds of sports center. Even including “inline skate” zone. When I was young, I used to roller stake so I know how to do inline skate. So I asked mom to enroll there as a member. And she said yes happily! Yes!! I am so happy. We will go to Homeplus to get a brand new skate. I think I will have a fun there. I will ask Sojung to join with me. I am so excited!!Mom said mom will join swimming class there. It’s chilly outside but I don’t understand why she wants to swim in this season. Anyway.. I am just happy with in line. Hope tomorrow is coming soon. I gotta sleep.
