지원동기 : 지원동기를 구체적으로 기술해주세요."Be a Global Leader"몇 년 전까지도 유통업은 내수산업의 대표 주자로 인식이 되었지만, 최근 대다수의 기업이 해외로 눈길을 돌리며 새로운 성장을 도모하고 있습니다. 롯데백화점은 러시아 모스크바, 중국 베이징, 텐진 등의 새로운 시장을 개척하고 내년에는 중국 톈진 2호점, 웨이하이, 2013년에는 션양점 오픈등 2018년까지 중국 내 20여개 점포를 세울 계획입니다. 이렇듯 국내를 넘어 세계로 도전하는 롯데백화점은 global leader로 성장하고자 하는 저의 비전과 일치하는 기업입니다.대학시절, 백화점 생선코너에서 아르바이트를 하면서 유통의 길을 보았습니다. 어머님께서 손쉽게 구입해서 식탁 위에 올라오는 한 마리의 생선이 무수한 일련의 과정을 거친다는 것이 무척 참신하게 다가왔습니다. 그때부터 저는 유통 분야에 관심을 가지고 학과 공부와 무역/유통공부를 병행하였습니다. 그후 중국 텐진에서 언어연수 생활 중 롯데그룹의 공격적인 중국진출을 유심히 지켜보면서 유통에 관한 꿈을 키웠습니다. 제가 롯데백화점에 입사한다면 저의 끈질긴 승부근성과 유쾌한 에너지를 바탕으로 국내 1위를 넘어 세계 1위의 롯데백화점이 될 수 있도록 기여하는 인재가 되겠습니다.성장과정 : 성장과정을 구체적으로 기술해주세요.“유쾌, 상쾌, 통쾌한者”저는 대학생이 되면서 생활환경이 자주 변하였고 그에 따라 많은 사람들을 만났습니다. 1학년때 학회생활을 한 후 입대, 2학년때 학생회장을 맡아 많은 사람을 만났고, 3학년때는 동아리에도 가입하였으며, 그후 중국유학생활과 미국유학생활을 거치며 많은 사람들과 친해졌습니다. 이러한 환경 속에서 다양한 환경에 빠르게 적응하는 능력과 다양한 사람과 쉽게 친해질 수 있는 친화력을 키워나갔습니다. 2009년에는 중국에서 유학생활을 하였습니다. 중국에서 국제학원의 교사직책을 맡으며 일을 하는 한편, 대학을 다니며 전세계 학생들과 소통할 수 있는 저만의 에너지를 키워나가게 되었습니다. 중국대학교 언어연수반에서는 반장을 맡았고, 외국인 축구팀에 들어가 다국적 친구들과도 함께 활동하였습니다. 2011년에는 미국에서 충남대 한국인유학생회 회장을 맡아 많은 친구들을 이끌며 세상을 보는 넓은 시야를 키울 수 있었습니다."무첨(無添)하게 살아라"저의 이런 유쾌한 성격은 가정환경에서 비롯되었습니다. 조부께서는 항상 "무첨하게 살아라" 라는 이야기를 많이 하셨습니다. 무첨(無添)이라는 뜻은 태어난 그때의 순수한 마음을 간직하라는 뜻이기도 하지만 다른 의미로 조상에게 욕됨 없이 행동하라는 의미도 있습니다. 조부님은 항상 이 점을 강조하시고 가슴 깊이 새기라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그래서 지금 제가 항상 행동할 때 몸가짐이 남들과 다르고 심사숙고 하는 모습은 어려서부터 할아버지께 항상 가르침을 받은 까닭입니다.또한 부모님은 항상 저희 3형제의 우애를 강조 하셧습니다.3형제의 막내로 자라나서 형들과 많이 싸우기도 했지만, 그러면서 사회적인 위계질서에 대해 배우고 윗사람을 대하는 태도를 학습했습니다.사회활동 : 학업 이외에 관심과 열정을 가지고 했던 다양한 경험 중 기억에 남는 것을 구체적으로 기술해주세요."리더의 자질"저는 리더십과 포용력이 매우 뛰어납니다. 학생회, 유학생회, 동아리 등 다양한 단체에서 구성원들을 이끌어보았습니다. 사람을 좋아하고, 뛰어난 사교성과 친화력을 바탕으로 모두에게 신임을 주고, 늘 솔선수범하는 자세를 보여주고 있습니다.군복무를 마치고 2학년으로 복학해 XX과 학생회장 자리를 맡았습니다.2008년 1년 동안 누구보다 열심히 그리고 유쾌하게 학회 일을 기획 ? 관리 하면서 학교 안팎의 다양하고 많은 사람들을 만나고 많은 경험을 했습니다. 그중 가장 힘들었지만 재미있었던 기억은 학과 연례행사 중 가장 큰 행사인학과 학술제을 기획 한 것입니다.2008년 당시 저희 XX과는 학과창립 XX주년이었으며, 이것을 기념하기위해 학술제에는 예전보다 많은 교수님들과 선배님들이 오시기로 계획되어있었습니다. 학생회임원으로써 당연히 부담이 되었지만 자신이 있었습니다.우선 저는 학생들에게 연극, 음창, 웅변중 각자가 하고 싶은 파트를 설문을 한 후 학생들 친밀한 관계에 따라 팀을 배분하였습니다. 그런후 해야 할 일의 우선순위를 결정한 다음 적정한 시간을 배분하여 처리 했습니다. 세가지 파트 중 연극은 외국어 실력에 더해 동작의 표현력을 극대화시켜야하는 부분이고, 또한 교수님과 선배님들이 가장 주목하는 파트였기 때문에 가장 주안점을 두었습니다. 그래서 저는 연극팀의 총지도를 맡고, 웅변파트에는 학생 한명당 한명씩 선배를 붙여주어 발성과 춤 연습을 돕도록 했습니다. 음창파트에는 총무를 총지도를 맡긴 후 각팀 마다 2명씩 지도자를 두어 발음과 동작을 도왔습니다.제가 총지도하는 연극팀은 총 15명의 학우와 4명의 지도자가 있었습니다. 모두 시간을 조금씩 쪼개어 연습을 하였고, 행사가 있기 2주전부터는 매일 모여 집중적으로 연습을 했습니다.저는 행사의 책임자로서 행사가 있기 한달전 부터는 1주일에 하루는 전체 연습팀을 돌아보며 학우들을 독려하고, 때로는 쓴소리도 하며 학우들을 이끌었습니다.그렇게 학술제라는 공통된 목표를 가지고 우리학우들이 달려온지 두달이 지나, 2008년 11월 7일 학술제를 성공적으로 치루었고, 선배님들과 교수님들에게 많은 칭찬을 받았습니다.약 두달간 100명이 넘는 후배들에게 외국어 원어연극, 원어음창, 원어웅변을 지도 ? 관리하고, 학과 홍보동영상을 촬영, 편집하는것은 그리 녹녹치 않은 일이었습니다. 제가 해낼 수 있었던 이유는 저를 믿고 따라주는 선?후배들이 있었기에 가능하였습니다. 두달 간의 일련의 과정들이 참 힘들기도 했지만 당일 무대 위에서 펼쳐진 학우들의 노력이 배어나오는 노래, 웅변, 연기들을 보며 열심히 한만큼 보람도 크다는 걸 새삼 느꼈습니다.직무경험 : 희망직무 준비과정과 희망직무에 대한 본인의 강점과 약점을 기술해주세요. (실패 또는 성공사례 중심으로 기술해 주세요.)적응의 달인저는 어려서부터 소처럼 “우직하다”라는 말을 많이 들었습니다. 어려운 일이 닥쳤을 때 불평, 불만 보다는 묵묵히 목표를 위해 앞으로 전진하는 모습 때문입니다. 그리고 곰곰이 무엇이 문제이고 어떠한 것이 필요한가를 나름대로 심사숙고하여 판단하고 실천합니다.저는 대학에 입학하면서부터 여러 가지 아르바이트들과 사회경험을 하면서 어느 일을 하더라도 빠른 적응을 했습니다. 어떠한 일이 닥쳤어도 그문제를 분석하고 빠르게 적응하는 능력은 저의 가장 큰 강점입니다. 실례로 방학때 롯데백화점 대전점 생선코너에서 일을 시작한뒤 2일 만에 제가 원해서 칼을 잡아 생선손질을 시작하였는데, 제가자진해서인지 몰라도 생선손질을 재미있게 배웠습니다. 또한 3일만에 저녁 집중판매코너를 담당하며 “골라 골라~ 아줌마도 골라 어머님도 골라~!”, “둘이 먹다 하다가 죽어도 모르는 싱싱한 통영생굴이 3봉에 오천원!!” 이런 식의 멘트로 고객들을 끌어 모았고, 당시의 고객들은 “젊은 총각이 장사잘하네!”등의 칭찬을 해주었습니다.

“Connecting the Dots”Teacher’s NameIntroduction of Human CommunicationNameDateIn the spring 2005, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, delivered a commencement speech to the graduating class of Stanford University. The speech connected with the audience, as well as the broader pubic due to the advice and perspective given by Jobs from his personal and professional life. The speech had three main topics: death, love and trust. With the three topics, in the speech, Steve Jobs aims to inspire the young graduates to remain curios and eager for the future, and to follow their convictions and dreams. Although he never graduated from college himself, Jobs states that everyone can reach there goals if they work hard and stay committed to what they believe in.Why Steve Jobs’ speech at Stanford is an eloquent speech?1. It is a honest personal story.Through this speech, we can know about his secret of birth, story about college education in his youth and creation of Mac, the pain being kicked out from the cbe told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation." Not only that, when talking about Apple computer, he said bluntly that Window’s virtually copied Mac. At this point the graduates got excited, clapping with lusty cheers. For example, "And since Windows just copied the Mac ..." also, he said he was kicked out from the company that he founded. This is another irony in his life. For example, "How can you get fired from a company you started?" but this time also, he said being kicked out from the company is the best thing that has happened in his life. For example, "Getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me."3. His speech has consistent structure from cradle to deathbed.(NARRATIVE PATTERN)Steve Jobs’ speech begins with the time before his birth. He is fascinated with oriental “Zen” thoughts. The narrative structure which start from the time earlier than birth, not from birth, matches with his orient-philosophical outlook. StartingthThis kind of topic structure can be remembered for a long time after the speech is finished.5. He uses a catchy phrase repeatedly. (REPETITION)Mostly, after the event, we don't remember what the point was after reading and listening to great speeches. As we can see Apple's designs are the highest reach of simplicity, Steve Jobs is a person who realized the fact that we humans are all foolish. In this speech, Jobs used many catchy phrases and he doesn't use it only one time, but repeats those many times. Word that was the most impressing of them is what he threw at almost end of the speech. “Stay foolish, stay hungry.” it consists of simple words, but it’s a fresh expression. So it's much stronger than direct expression.6. He uses a contrast.Contrast makes what we want to tell clear and long-memorable and easy to understand.For example "you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.""The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightnon’t settle."At an important message, he never shows himself quiet or hesitating. We can feel his heart that tells us to challenge recklessly, in our precious youth, in only one life time.9. He uses short sentences effectively. (SIMPLE SENTENCE)Long sentence can cause a problem in grammar and it is uncomfortable to both the speaker and a listeners. At some part that we have to summarize after long sentences, short sentences are very effective. Especially when an occasion we have to breathe with an audience, like a speech, it's much more. Steve Jobs says like following."That's it. No big deal. Just three stories."" I loved it.""And then I got fired.""So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out.""I still loved what I did.""Everything else is secondary."10. He breathes with an audience.In good sentences or speeches, communication with an audience is always important. Jobs touches people's curiosity and makes people concentrate on a speech by throwing questions to an audience at the middle ons of persuasionSince Jobs’ speech is coming from his own life and not filled with much actual facts and statistics, it is hardly find LOGOS in this speech. Jobs uses ETHOS by being trustworthy and credible in constantly referring to events in his own life that has been difficult, but has led him to where he is today. He speaks of these events in a mature and wise way, which gives him certain credibility. However, Jobs presents a very emotionally stressed, which appeals to the feelings and sympathy of the audience. Therefore, Jobs’ main appeal to the audience is through PATHOS. He uses pathos, by relating to the audience through stories that they can identify themselves with or relate to.“About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn't even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than threch.
