Andrej Mahecic, the agency’s spokesperson, said that “The decision to halt further resettlement out of Saloum is based on a marked improvement in the situation in eastern Libya, and because UNHCR is refocusing its protection and assistance efforts inside Libya.” Like this cases, the United Nations is trying to protect the nation which suffering from many kinds of problems in the world. In this contemporary era, it is definitely true that anyone cannot deny the power of the United Nations.United NationsIn the World War II, the Allied Natiration by United Nations” of 1 January 1942, when 26 governments signed the Atlantic Charter, pledging to continue the war effort. On 25 April 1945, representatives of 50 countries met in San Francisco involved in drafting the United Nations Charter. The Charter was signed on 26 June 1945 by representatives of the 50 countries. Poland which was not represented at the Conference signed it later. Finally, the United Nations became as the original 51 member states. The headquarters of the United Nations is a complex in New York City. Nowadays, six official languages are used at the United Nations - Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. The UN European Headquarters is in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland. It has offices in Vienna, Austria and Economic Commissions in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, Amman in Jordan, Bangkok in Thailand and Santiago in Chile. (David, Wilton. They constitute and regulate the Court, and hear cases related to war crimes, illegal state interference and ethics matter. The one of the last organs in the United Nations is the Secretariat. The duties carried out by the Secretariat are as the problems dealt with by the United Nations. They participate from administering peacekeeping operations to mediating international disputes.According to those duty and responsibility, the United Nations has been dore sometimes armed, they are not obligated to engage in combat. The other thing is about Human rights and Humanitarian assistance. The pursuit of Human rights is a main reason for establishing the United Nations. Human Rights Day is on 10 December. Euthanasia“Good death” This is the origin of the term euthanasia. We can choose two ways of going to a good death. First, there is passive euthanasia. The patient or person who suffers from pain is stopping treatment. Even though a patient has some treatment, he or she stops doing all treatment even though the patient is going to die. In the case of RB, I think this is passive euthanasia. They have a way to keep him alive with a ventilator. However, the parents and doctor decide to turn off the machine. That means, they know the baby will die soon, but they choose to let him die more comfortably. That’s why they inject some sedative into the baby for reducing pain when he doctor turns off the machine. The baby cannot express his opinion to another person. His death is decided by another person such as a doctor, nurse or parent. Therefore, this is not voluntary euthanasia. The baby cannot say anything to his parent. He can do only one thing which is see his parents. Because of all theseify needing the medical care to prolong it. He was born with an extremely rare genetic condition known as congenital myasthenic syndrome; he cannot use any muscle. Furthermore, he suffered breathing problems in his birth, so he was put on a supporting machine. One of the experts, Professor Andrew Bush, judged the baby during the court and agreed with the hospital staff that it would not be the right thing to do in keeping the RB alive. That is why his mother changed her mind when the baby was six months old. Even though she really loves her son, she realized what will happen in the future to him. She said, “It was such a relief. I know he’s in a better place, running around and eating chocolate. That’s how I like to think of him. We stayed with him all day. It was so hard to walk away, knowing it was the last time I’d see him, but I thought, he’ll want a rest now. He was at peace”. She was worried about her son’s peaceful life, which she feels he would not get living a life with many ohe father thought that his son should have his life prolonged with a windpipe. Also, he said it could possible to him being cared for at home. Tragically, he agreed that the life support machine could be turned off. When he was in the court, he was crying and so devastated.According to above all, this can be called by passive euthanasia. Even though the baby’s father does not want to let his son die, the parents finally give up for holding their baby’s breath. Then, in this case, how the Gay-Williams regard of it? He would agree with the parents’ opinion. As he mentioned in the article, he contends that passive euthanasia is not killing but just natural deaths. He believes that this is not euthanasia at all. According to him, every human being has the own processes to continue living. So, if a person is cut, his or her body tries to heal the wound. However, in RB’s case, the baby cannot continue his life without supporting machine. Also, the doctor endeavors to make him get better; the. So even though he believes euthanasia, exactly active euthanasia, is wrong, it does not apply to this case. Furthermore, the Gay-Williams mentioned that the aim is to avoid increasing the financial and emotional burden on his family. If the baby keeps his breath through the supporting machine, the parents should pay a lot of money for him. When a patient’s condition is such that it is not reasonable to hope that any medical procedures or treatments will save his life, a failure to implement the procedures or treatments is not euthanasia. So, it may even have benefits to another people like a family.From where I am standing, I agree with the opinion to turn off the ventilator. Some people try to regard to life as a good or full of happiness. From this thinking, a person do something valuable every second, every hours, every day, and every night. Actually, people do not have to do something valuable. If a person can breathe, move, eat, speak, express him or herself emotion without any self without a supporting machine. If the doctors eliminate this machine, there will be heartbreak. Unfortunately, his muscles do not work, so he cannot play outside like other children even if he continues to live with a ventilator. Is it good for him? If I am a parent, of course, it is hard to decide whether to turn off the supporting machine or not. However, people should think about his future. Even though mother give birth the baby, baby’s life cannot belong to her. He should live of his own accord. His conditions life is difficult and too painful every moment. The only thing that he can do is seeing. According to medical examination, Ronnie's brain was thought to be active like any other baby's but his body was immobile. It’s more tragedy. Some people can say that it’s possible that he can overcome his defect through new treatment in the future. This is also hope, but we should face the reality. Also, if someone ask that how can doctor or nurse treat be out of the bounds of possist.

진다는 것은, 문학 세계에서 작가가 일제에 동조하는 것과 마찬가지 적인 의미로써 당시 공용어로 선택된 일본어로 작품을 쓰던지, 아니면 작가 생활을 그만 둬야만 하는 양자택일의 기로를 해야만 했었다. 일부 작가들은 일본어 작품 활동이 일제에 협력하게 되는 내재적 의미를 알고 있음에도 불구하고 일본어를 사용하여 꾸준히 문학 활동을 감행한다.이 점에 의거하여 우리 6조는 한설야 의 두 작품 에 대하여, 이 작품들을 당시의 친일 문학의 하나로 평가해야 하는지, 아니면 우회적 글쓰기를 통한 저항 문학으로 평가해야 하는 지에 대해 다양한 의견을 제시하고 이 점에 대해 토론해 보았다.I. 본론1. 작가 한설야(1) 한설야의 생애1900년 8월 3일 태어났고, 함경남도 함흥군 주서면이 고향이다. 한설야의 부친 한직연은 청주이 자연발생적인 순수 예술의 지향이, 「평범」「그 전후」에서는 사회주의에 대한 단초가 드러났고 그 후의 작품은 계급의식이 형성되는 과도기적 성격과 만주체험으로 획득한 현실성을 바탕으로 소설의 사회적 도구화가 이루어지는 시기다. 한설야는 만주 체험을 통해 직접 목격한 민족의 참상을 「합숙소의 밤」과「인조폭포」에 구체적으로 수용하였다.‘신건설사사건’으로 불리는 카프검거사건(1934년)이 일어나면서 카프 간부 태반이 검거되고 23명이 기소된다. 한설야는 실형을 받았으나 항소심에서 집행유예로 풀려난다. 신건설사 사건은 카프를 대상으로 한 일제의 본격적인 사상 탄압이었으며 결국 카프의 해산으로 귀결된다. 일년 반 가량의 수감생활을 하고 출옥한 이후 귀향하여 발표한 글들은 이전의 계급 전위자로서의 면모가 아니라 내면탐구에 집착하는 소시민 지식인의 모습을 보여주고 있다.광복 이후 북조선임시인민위원회 함경도 대표를 지냈고 북조선인민위원회 교육부장, 최고인민회의 대의원도 역임하는 등 북조선을 대표하는 문인으로 정치적인 성공을 누렸다. 한국 전쟁 이후에도 조선문학가총동맹 위원장을 지내면서 남로당 계열 문인들의 숙청을 주도한 뒤 최고인민회의 부위원장을 지내고 1957년 9월에는 내각 교육, 문화상에 임명되는 등 성공가도를 달렸으나, 1962년 《문학신문》에 연재하던 시조가 예고 없이 돌연 중단되면서 숙청되었다는 설이 나돌았다.(2) 한설야의 문학적 경향과 글쓰기한설야의 문학적 경향에 영향을 미친 데에는 집안 환경이 있는데, 한설야는 자신의 어린 시절을 추억하면서 자신의 집에서 양녀로 불리는 노비를 대하는 가족들의 차별적 태도와 그에 대한 자신의 반발과 동정, 부모가 아들과 딸을 차별하는 데 대한 불만, 아버지에 대한 일제의 박해 때문에 가정으로부터 사회에 눈을 돌리게 되었다고 회고한다.앞서 한설야의 생애에서 보았듯이 한설야는 함흥보통학교를 나오고 경성 고등보통학교에 입학하는데 이러한 학업 과정 및 성장기에 도시체험을 한다는 점 그리고 그 당시 공업의 융성지 였던 함흥 출신이라는 1930년대는 민족말살정책으로 일본 군국주의는 대륙침략을 본격화하면서 전쟁에 몰입하게 되고, 1931년에는 만주사변을, 1937년에는 중일전쟁을, 1941년에는 미국을 상대로 태평양 전쟁을 일으켜 하와이, 동남아시아 등을 공격하게 된다. 수많은 전쟁으로 국력의 소진을 들어내면서 일본은 새로운 식민지 통치를 시작하며 한국을 전쟁물자 보급창으로 사용하려고 이른바 ‘병참 기지화 정책’을 펴나가게 되고, 이를 위해 식민지를 아예 일본의 일부로 만들려는 ‘민족말살정책’을 수행하게 된다.태평양 전쟁 및 제2차 세계대전으로 일본 본토에서의 징용 및 군사력 증발이 한계에 부딪치자 식민지를 전 세계로 넓히면서 그와 동시에 위안부 인력, 군사인력을 징집하게 되었으며 조선반도, 대만, 중국 만주 지대 등등에서 차출하고 대동아경영권을 위한 식민지 확보에 나서면서 난징 대학살 등의 만행을 주도하게 된다. 또한 한국인도 일본과 똑같은 동일국민 내지는 동일민족의 처지로 개조할 필요를 느낀 일제는 우리 민족을 말살하고 1930년대 이후 조선인의 민족의식과 저항을 잠재우고 전쟁에 협력하길 강요하기 위해 이른바 황국신민화를 추진한다. 이 시기에는 기존의 문화통치 시기에 허용된 문화 활동을 금하고, 내선일체 일선동조론 등을 주장하며 일본과 조선은 하나, 조선과 일본의 뿌리는 같다는 명분으로 모든 인력과 물자를 수탈해가고 창씨계명을 강요하기까지 한다.한편 일본 왕이 있는 동쪽을 향하여 절을 하라고 강요하여 이른바 동양 요배 등으로 한국인의 혼을 말살하고 일본인의 정신을 대신 심으려하는 것은 물론이며 일장기 게양, 신사참배 가용, 조선어교육폐지와 같은 우리민족의 정신까지 지배하려는 정책은 극에 달하게 된다. 이때를 전후하여 문단에선 우회적 글쓰기를 통해 글을 쓰거나 혹은 붓을 절필하거나 망명하는 작가들의 저항이 나타나기도 하며, 반대로 그러한 시대에 동조하여 자신만의 내적 논리를 지니며 일본으로 등을 돌리는 작가들이 생김으로 문단에서도 분열되는 움직임이 나타나게 된다. 또한 그 외 여러 다양한 활 있는 장치였다. 이 방식은 작가와 작품에 따라 그 양상이 다양하기 때문에 정형적인 틀을 잡기 어렵다.예를 들어 한설야는 우회적 글쓰기를 통해 식민주의를 비판한 대표적인 인물이기 때문에 그의 작품을 통하여 이 장치의 모습을 여실히 확인할 수 있다. 하지만 우회적 글쓰기의 특성상 한설야의 대표작 ?피?를 본다면 항일에 대한 흔적이 너무 마사코상에게 감사드립니다.우리 조원들은 ‘고생’의 의미에 대해서 의문을 품게 되었다. ‘고생, 고통’이란 단어는 작품 속에서 여러 번 등장하기 때문에 이 어휘가 저항소설로서의 피에서 어떠한 의미를 내포하는 토론해 보았다. 우리 조는 고생의 의미를 두 가지 측면에서 바라보았다. 마사코와의 대화에서 ‘저항을 예술로 승화시킨 점’과 어머니와의 대화에서 나타나는 고생의 의미는 ‘식민일에 대해 마사코와 이야길 나누는 과정에서 위와 같은 말을 하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 김상은 스스로 자신에 대한 속마음을 살며시 내비치지만 이 역시 마사코가 얼굴을 반색하는 것을 알 수 있다. 이러한 구절을 통해 일제 식민 통치 아래 내선일체의 의미에 대해 궁극적으로 생각해본다면 행여 우리민족이 일본에게 손을 내민다 해도 일본의 내선일체의 허구성처럼 우리는 곧 그들에 의해 버림받을 것이라는 의미를 함축하고 있음을 알 수 있다.괜찮다. 평생 고통과 싸우지 않으면 안 될 운명을 타고났으니 어쩔 수 없겠지. 그러나 나의 고통이라는 것은 외부에서 오는 것이 아니라 내 피 속에 있는 것이 아닐까?앞에서 보았던 고생의 의미와 내선일체의 한계성과 허구성에 대한 작가의 신념이 ‘피’ 라는 단어에 압축되어 드러난다고 보았다. 피는 민족성을 상징하므로 이러한 고생과 고뇌의 근원이 근본적으로는 일본인과 조선인이 하나가 될 수 없다는 것이다. 즉, 피라는 것은 본질적으로 다름을 극명하게 드러내 주며, 이러한 이질성을 통해서 작가는 내선일체와 내선결혼이 절대 이루어질 수 없음을 말하고 있다.(2) 제 2 부 : 다른 해석의 관점으로 바라본 “피”에 대한 작품분석① 작품에 해석에 대한 초점.위 글을 단순한 저항적 소설로 보기엔 무리가 있다는 조원의 일부의 내용을 바탕으로 기존의 작품에 대한 저항적 소설에 대한 해석에 반하여 일본인과 조선인에 대한 조화를 바탕으로 작품을 해석해 보았다. 위에서 설명하는 조화란 단순히 일본이 주장하던 내선일체, 즉 일본이 상위의 위치에서 존재하는 식민지에 대한 모순에 빠져있는 그러한 편협한 사상을 근본으로 하는 생각을 찬성하는 것은 아니다. 허구성이 분명한 제국주의적 평등적 입장을 벗어나고 근본적으로 조선을 일본과 동등한 위치에서 바라보며, 식민자와 피식민자의 위치가 아닌 인간 대 인간으로, 거기에는 가해자도 피해자도 없음을 의미한다고 보며 “피”라는 작품을 해석해나가는 것에 초점을 맞추었다.② 작품에 대한 표면적 해석.마음이 아름답고
