According to the news, in Korea, the percentage of teenagers who smoke is twice as high in comparison with advanced countries like the United States and the United Kingdom. Moreover, the number of smokers is expected to increase even more because female smoker and teenage smoker are also increasing rapidly in the past years.

Would you prefer to raise the price of cigarettes or maintain the price of it? It is a serious social problem in Korea these days. Some people think that there are many positive aspects with the price increase, but some people don't. Here is the price of cigarettes should be maintained for two reasons.First, juvenile crime can increase rapidly. According to the news, the smoking rate of teenagers in Korea is the highest in the world. In other words, the number of teenager smokers are increasing even more. In this situation, raising the price of cigarettes can have an attitude of defiance from teenagers. For examples, it can cause social problems, such as extracting money from their friends by threats or stealing articles in a store in order to raise the rising price of tobacco.Second, the price increase can be a burden for lower-income households who smoke. Some of them tend to cure their sufferings by smoking. Therefore, if the price of cigarette rises, they can not only feel the economic burden by buying their cigarettes, but it can also gain mental anguish and stress. They can also fall satisfaction of life.Proponents of the price increase might claim that it can have a huge impact on decrease of smoking rates. However, if we look at the previous statistics, we can analyze that it was less effective. In addition, the consumption of cigarettes can decline for a moment, but smoking rates will increase again if price impact moderates or price is standardized.In conclusion, the price of cigarettes should be kept because it can be preventable to teenager's bad behaviors and reduce the common people's psychological burden.I think that people addicted to smoking will have a cigarette continuously regardless of the price. Therefore, I am against on raising the price of cigarettes because it is good for nothing for the purpose of decreasing the smoke rates.These days, the percentage of people having pets is increasing. It is expected that pet owners will increase more due to the rising population of the elderly and single households. At the same time, looking after pets has become a new social problem. For example, Should pets be allowed in an apartment building? Or should pets not be allowed in an apartment building? Pets should not be allowed in an apartment buildings for two reasons.First, raising pets at home generate a great deal of noise. According to the news, noise between upstairs and downstairs of the house is a hot topic these days. It causes such trouble such as neighbourly disputes and knifing crimes. Likewise, people who hear noises not only will fail to get to sleep but also feel tired while they work. They will also drop the efficiency of their work and get stressed.Second, apartment residential space can turn into insanitary environment. For example, pets which have fur like dogs and cats always unhair and even they molt when the fall comes. Because of that, the residents of this apartment will also have a tendency to have a difficulty in breathing. In addition, pets take a pee on the elevators or on the stairs when they go for a walk with their owner. It gives off a strange odor, and residents who discover pet's dropping can feel an unpleasant feeling.Proponent of pet owners might claim that having a pet at home makes their life happier and provides emotional stability. However, raising pets cannot guarantee of happiness. They can live a happy life through alternative way such as hobbies and culture experiences.In conclusion, raising pets in an apartment should be outlawed because it can negatively affect the other resident's daily lives, and residents can not live in pleasant surroundings. Everyone is entitled to have pets. At the same time, there is in duty toward the residents who has mental stress by pets. It is an essential condition for the sense of community that live together with. Therefore, I am against on keeping pets in an apartment. For the people who want to raise pets, they must live in an individual home.
