ResultsTo measure the pH of Solution A, 10 ml of acid and basic Solution were added 10 times in 1 ml increments. The results showed that the pH of solution A gradually decreased when 1 ml of HCl was added to Solution A, and the pH of Solution A gradually increased when NaOH was added.Solution B is also the result of experiment. In order to measure the pH of Solution B, 10 ml of HCl and NaOH were added in 1 ml in total for 10 times. As a result, when 1 ml of HCl was added to the Solution B, the pH of the Solution B was remarkably reduced from the beginning, and it was gradually decreased.
AbstractStress is an anxiety or threat that people feel when they are in a situation where they can not cope with psychological difficulties. Such stress is especially dangerous because it is a cause of depression and suicide. Because human beings can not avoid stress in their life, it is important to cope with stress. The circumstances under which we are stressed vary widely, and the specific causes are also complex. Stress can be said to be a stimulus, a reaction to an event, an object, or a person. The stimulus that causes this stress reaction is the stressor and the cause. However, it is difficult to study the cause of stress because some same stimuli can not be a stressor to all people, This is because while it represents the reaction of anxiety, to some people it may be accepted as a challenging factor by acting as a motive. First, for psychosocial reasons, stressors can be seen as a result of the complex interactions of social behavior with the reactions of our minds in interpreting such behavior.
I have a dream to achieve. However, that dream does not always make me happy. In order to achieve my dream, I am studying hard English and school life, and I am really stressed. I was not born in the United States and English is my second foreign language. So, it is natural that it is hard to do and sometimes I feel not happy. I focused primarily on the harmful, negative side of stress, but there are also some positive aspects. When stress is pleasant or perceived as a manageable challenge, it can be beneficial.
IntroductionEnzymes are macromolecule that acts as a catalyst, a chemical agent that speeds up a reaction without being consumed by the reaction. They convert the complex of the enzyme and the substrate to the transition state so that the product can easily be formed at the active site. In this experiment, we are focusing on enzymes that are proteins. Lactose is a disaccharide composed of D-galactose and D-glucose. The thermal agitation of the enzyme molecule disrupts the hydrogen bonds, ionic bonds, and other weak interactions that stabilize the active shape of the enzyme, and the protein molecule eventually denatures. The types are various, and each has a unique highorder structure and exhibits unique properties. Types vary and lose their inherent high dimensional structure, which is altered by physical and chemical changes and called protein denaturation. A familiar example of heat-caused denaturation are the changes observed in the albumin protein of egg whites when they are cooked.
IntroductionThe Gram stain procedure was developed by Hans Christian Gram in the 1884 and was one of the first techniques taught to students in microbiology laboratories. Gram staining is the method that distinguish between gram bacteria and classically, uses Crystal Violet dye, which is retained by the thick peptidoglycan cell wall found in gram-positive organisms. Stains increase contrast allowing bacteria to be observed with greater ease. Gram staining is dependent on the interaction between the negatively charged surface of bacteria and the positive ions within common stains.
