Maximum-amplitude 800Hz sine wave의 기울기는 pre-filtered practical speech signals에서 발견된 최대 기울기와 같음을 확인 할 것이다.Adaptive Delta ModulationLinear Delta Modulation system은 granular noise와 slope overload distortion에 영향을 받는다. Ramps의 slope가 감소한다면, granular 잡음이 감소한다. 그러나 slope overload distortion는 증가한다. 만약 ramp의 slope가 증가하면 slope overload distortion는 감소하지만 granular noise는 증가한다. Adaptive delta modulation 기술은 quantization interval의 크기를 조절함으로서 이 문제를 해결하려고 한다.ADM의 한 종류는 CVSD(Continuously Variable Slope Delta Modulation)라고 불린다. CVSD 시스템은 onset of slope overload를 발견하고 자동적으로 quantization interval을 증가시킨다. 정상적으로 쫓아가는 동안 quantization interval의 크기를 천천히 감소하도록 한다.그림 5-28은 CVSD= 32kHz- clock frequency를 증가시키면 sampling 간격이 줄어든다. 따라서 짧은 시간내의 message signal의 변화에 따라갈 수 있게 되고 integrated signal이 message signal과 유사하게 된다. 그러므로 slope overload distortion이 줄어들게 된다.9) The delta / CVSD encoder의 knob를 clockwise의 max position까지 돌린다. 오실로스코프가 그림 5-36(a)와 비슷해야 한다.합쳐진 신호가 원래 신호를 정확하게 따라 갑니까? 설명하시오.fs = 8kHz, slope knob 증가 전fs = 8kHz, slope knob 증가 후- YES ( V ... ) The noise generator의 noise voltage가 증가할 때까지 output level을 증가시킨다.
