본문내용
Marriage has been a universal social practice in most societies in human history. Most people have taken it for granted to marry someone and form a family for a more comfortable and stable life, although not all people might want to be in a marriage. In these days, there is still a strong belief that marriage guarantees a higher quality of life compared to that of a single life. According to Lorene H, a sociologist who studies marriage, “the vast majority of Americans consider marriage as an appropriate and desirable arrangement for adults, and ninety percent of Americans will marry at least once in their life time.”# Married people are better off because they benefited from the emotional, physical, and financial advantages of marriage.
