녹색 디자인 교육 체험 프로그램이 청소년 녹색복지 활동 역량에 미치는 영향 연구 - 충청남도 천안시 중고교 재학생을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Influence of Green Design Education Experience Program on Activity Capacity for Green Welfare of Teenagers(Enhancing Teenagers' Green Welfare Activity through Green Design Education Pro)

초록

본 연구는 녹색디자인 교육체험프로그램이 녹색복지에 대한 인식과 활동역량에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 3가지 연구가설을 설정하여 프로그램수행 전후에 각각 설문을 실시하여 가설을 검증하였다. 체험프로그램은 충청남도 천안시내 중․고등학교에 재학 중인 청소년 105명을 대상으로 먼저 녹색복지개념을 설명하고 힐링정원만들기를 통한 환경 치유프로그램을 실시하였다. 설문항목은 녹색복지 용어에 대한 인식, 녹색복지 대상 및 범위, 청소년 활동량 진단표, 생태흥미성, 보호성, 필요성으로 구성하였다. 연구결과 첫번째 가설인 생태체험 교육프로그램을통해 녹색복지인식을 증진한다는 가설은 응답자의 79%가 생태체험 교육을 통해 녹색복지인식에 대하여 증진효과가 유의한 수준으로 개선되는 것으로 나타나 첫 번째 가설은 유효한 것으로 채택되었다. 녹색복지범위로는 대부분 응답자가 생태계 보존과 숲가꾸기의 용어가 떠오른다고 대답하였으며, 일부는 녹색서비스, 치유의 숲, 삶의 질 향상 등으로 대답하였다. 두 번째 가설인 녹색디자인 교육체험프로그램이 청소년 활동역량에 효과가 있다는 가설은 유의한 수준의 효과가 있는 것으로 나타나 채택되었으며, 사전사후 검증결과 응답자에게 긍정적인 효과가 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 세번째 가설인 녹색디자인 교육체험프로그램이 생태흥미성, 보호성, 필요성에 효과가 있다는 가설은 설문결과 유의한 수준의 효과가 있는 것으로 나타나 채택되었다. 본 연구결과 녹색복지 시대에 힐링정원 문화를 통한 녹색디자인 체험학습 효과가 청소년들의 스트레스, 학업향상, 자존감 상승에 매우 큰 효과를 가져올 것으로 판단되며, 지속적인 생태체험교육을 통해 녹색복지의 인식을 확산시키고 청소년들의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 프로그램들이 많이 실시되어야 할 것이다.

영어초록

This study was conducted to verify the effectiveness of green design training programs in increasing awareness and expanding activity capabilities of green welfare. Three research theories were set up and surveys were carried out before and after attending the program for verification of the hypothesis. The experience program first explained the concept of green welfare to 105 teenagers attending middle and high schools in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam Province. Then, an environmental healing program was carried out through an activity of creating of healing gardens. The questionnaire consisted of questions on green welfare terminology, green welfare targets and scope, diagnosis table of youth activity, ecological interest, protection, and need. The study found that the first hypothesis of promoting green welfare awareness through the Ecological Experience Education Program was adopted as valid, with 79% of the respondents answered that there was significant improvement in increasing awareness on green welfare through the education of the ecological experience. On the green welfare scope, most respondents answered that words such as conservation of ecosystems and forest cultivation came to mind, with some answering green services, forest of healing, and quality of life, respectively. The second hypothesis that the green design training experience program is effective for expanding youth activity capability, was adopted as it was shown to have a significant level of effectiveness, and the verification results before and after confirmed that there is positive effect on respondents. The third hypothesis that the green design training program is effective in ecological interest, protection, and need, was adopted as the survey results showed significant levels of effectiveness. The results of this study show that the effects of learning green design and experiencing healing garden culture in the green welfare era will have great effect on youth stress, academic improvement, and increasing self-esteem, and many programs should be implemented to spread awareness of green welfare and improve the quality of life for young people through continuous eco-experience education.
