4차 산업혁명에 따른 물류 산업 유형 구분과 대응 방안 (Classification of Logistics Industry and Countermeasures in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era)

초록

4차 산업혁명이 부상하면서 물류 산업에도 정보통신기술과 신기술을 기반으로 한 ‘물류 4.0’ 시대가 도래하고 있다. 이는 온라인 거래 확대와 1인 가구의 증가, 신선 물류에 대한 수요 증대, M&A를 통한 화주 기업의 대형화와 같은 사회적 변화와 함께 물류 산업의 변화를 가속화시키고 있다.
이에 본 연구는 학술적인 접근에서 4차 산업혁명을 기반 한 물류 신기술과 이를 통해 변화하고 있는 물류 산업을 유형별로 구분해 보고, 이들의 특징을 도출하여 물류 산업에 종사하고 있거나 창업을 준비하는 실무자들이 각각의 목적에 맞게 유형을 선택하고 전략을 세울 수 있도록 개념적인 프레임을 제공하고자 한다. 그 결과, 4차 산업혁명에 따른 물류 산업 변화는 첫째, 기술주도 시장확대 모델, 둘째, 기술주도 효율최적화 모델, 셋째, 물류혁신 비즈니스 모델로 구분되었다. 또한 국내 물류 산업 변화의 문제점으로는 기업의 물류 혁신 기술에 대한 부진한 투자 및 활용, 물류 자동화에 따른 고용시장 구조 변화에 대한 미흡한 준비, 경직적인 법제도와 낮은 물류 경쟁력이 지적되었다.
결론에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 대기업과 중소기업, 스타트업의 긴밀한 협력, 교육을 통한 4차 산업혁명 인지율 상승, 일-학습 병행 구도 마련, 직무관련 정보 및 기술 동향 제공, 직무전환 교육, 적극적인 규제 완화 및 물류 인프라 고도화 등을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구 결과는 물류 산업 변화 모델을 기반으로 한 개념적 프레임을 제공하고, 물류 산업을 유형별로 구분하여 특징을 제시함으로써 물류 창업자들에게 전략적 방향성을 제고하고 있으며, 위험에 대비하는 해결책을 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영어초록

With the rise of the fourth industrial revolution, the ”logistics 4.0” era based on information and communication technology and new technology is coming to the logistics industry as well. This is accelerating the change of the logistics industry with social change such as expansion of online transaction, increase of single-person household, increase of demand for cold chain logistics, and enlargement of shippers through M&A.
The purpose of this study is to classify the new logistics technology based on the 4th industrial revolution and the changing logistics industry by the type and to characterize them. Thereby we provide a conceptual framework that allows practitioners who work or try to start a new business in the logistics industry to choose the model and make the strategies for each purpose in the future.
As a result, the changes of the logistics industry according to the 4th industrial revolution were divided into the first, the technology - led market expansion model, second, the technology - driven efficiency optimization model, and the third, the logistics innovation business model. In addition, the problems of the change of the domestic logistics industry are pointed out which are poor investment and utilization of the logistics innovation technology of companies, the lack of preparation for changes in the employment market structure due to the automation of logistics, the rigid legal system and low logistics competitiveness.
In conclusion, in order to solve this problem, it is necessary to cooperate closely with large companies, SMEs and start-ups, to raise awareness of the fourth industrial revolution through education, to establish a work-learning parallel arrangement, to provide job- related information and technology trends, aggressive deregulation and advanced logistics infrastructure. The results of this study are meaningful in that they provide a conceptual framework based on the logistics industry change model and provide strategic directions to logistics entrepreneurs by presenting characteristics by classifying the logistics industry by type and presenting solutions to prepare for the risks.
