진로탐색 프로그램이 지체장애 대학생의 진로탐색행동, 진로자기효능감, 진로의사결정에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Career Exploration Program on the Career Exploration Behavior, Career Self-Efficacy and Career Decision Making of College Students with Physical Disabilities)

초록

본 연구에서는 지체장애 대학생에게 적용 가능한 프로그램을 선정하여, 진로탐색 프로그램을 실시한 후 지체장애 대학생의 진로탐색행동, 진로자기효능감, 진로의사결정능력이 향상하였는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 경산시 소재 D대학교에 재학 중인 지체장애 대학생들을 연구대상으로 선정하고 프로그램에 참가 가능한 학생 12명을 실험집단으로 구성하였으며 일정계획에 맞지 않는 학생 12명을 통제집단으로 구성하였다. 진로탐색 프로그램을 실시한 후 그 효과성을 분석한 결과, 진로탐색행동, 진로자기효능감이 유의미하게 향상되었으며, 진로의사결정능력은 하위변인 중 합리적유형, 의존적유형, 진로계획수준, 취업계획수준만이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 또한 프로그램 실시 후 3개월이 경과한 시기에 추후검사를 통해 다시 한 번 프로그램의 효과를 분석한 결과, 진로탐색행동, 진로자기효능감, 진로의사결정능력이 사후검사 이후 유지되고 있어 프로그램의 효과의 지속성을 확인하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is construction and an effect analysis of career exploration program which can be implemented for college students with physical disabilities. Career exploration program which will be implemented for college students with physical disabilities, has been selected and constructed appropriately according to the review of literature on persons with physical disabilities, analyzing prior researches of career search programs which have been developed until now, and through consultation of career counseling experts. The program of this study has been implemented only to the experimental group for 5 days in the form of marathon, and no program has been implemented to the control group. The results of this research indicate that first, as a result of implementing program, there is meaningful increase in the career exploration behavior, career self- efficacy, and the career decision making. Especially, the reason that the average of the experimental group shows higher abilities in making career decision, compared to the control group is that appropriate decision making methods has been learned during the time of program implementation. We can conclude that the experimental group who has participated in the program, actually benefited in increasing abilities in making appropriate decision, during the course of making career selection. Second, in this research, not only the effect of the program immediately after it has ended has been examined, but the maintenance effect of the program has been evaluated as well. Therefore, more programs related to career should be developed for college students with physical disabilities.
