학교장의 인권인식에 영향을 주는 인권교육 연수 요인 분석 (Analysis of Human Rights Education Training Factors Influencing the Human Rights Perception of Principals)

초록

이 연구의 목적은 학교장을 대상으로 하는 인권교육 연수의 방법 및 내용 요인 중 어떤 것이 학교장의 인권인식에 영향을주는지를 살펴보려는 것이다. 인권교육 연수를 받은 경험이 있는 학교장 201명을 대상으로 인권교육 연수 경험, 인권인식 등에대하여 온라인 조사한 자료를 활용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 독립 변수는 연수 방식 및 연수 내용과 관련한 하위 영역으로설정하였다. 종속 변수는 학교장 인권인식인데, 하위 영역으로 ‘인권교육 연수효과 인식’과 ‘학생인권판단’을 설정하였다. 또한 통제변수로 성별, 근무 학교급, 학생인권조례지역 근무 여부를 설정하였다. 조사 자료를 통계 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사에비하여 학교장의 인권교육 연수효과 인식과 학생인권판단은 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 더 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 학교장의인권인식에 영향을 주는 인권교육 연수 방식 요인은 직전년도 인권교육 연수를 받았는지, 즉 인권교육 연수 시점으로 나타났다.
이를 고려할 때 학교장 대상 인권교육 연수를 매년 실행하는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 학교장의 인권인식에 영향을 주는인권교육 연수 내용 요인은 인권 일반이나 인권교육을 위한 교수 방법 등의 내용이 아니라 학생 청소년의 인권 존중이나 사회적약자의 인권을 강조하는 내용으로 나타났다. 이를 고려할 때 학교장 대상 인권교육 내용 구성에서 학생 인권에 초점을 둔 내용으로연수 내용을 체계화하는 방안을 강구할 필요가 있다.

영어초록

This study aimed to examine the methods and content factors of training that affect the perceptionof human rights of principals in human rights education training for principals. To this end,the data surveyed on 201 principals who have received human rights education training werestatistically analyzed. The contents of the survey included their human rights education trainingexperience and human rights perception. Subareas related to the training method and trainingcontents were set as independent variables. The principal’s human rights perception was usedas a dependent variable, and “recognition of human rights education training effect” and “judgmenton student human rights” were set as the subareas. In addition, sex, school level where theywork, and whether to work in the student human rights ordinance area were set as the controlvariables. The results are as follows. First, both the principal’s recognition of human rightseducation training effect and judgment on student human rights were higher at a statisticallysignificant level than those of teachers. Second, the factor of the human rights education trainingmethod that affects the principal’s human rights perception was whether he received humanrights education training in the previous year, that is, at the time of human rights educationtraining. Considering this, it is necessary to determine ways to implement human rights educationtraining for principals every year. Third, the content of human rights education training thataffects the principal’s human rights perception was not “the general human rights and teachingmethods for human rights education” but “the respect of human rights of students, the humanrights of the socially disadvantaged.” Considering this, it is necessary to devise a plan to systematizethe training contents with a focus on student human rights in the composition of human rightseducation contents for principals.
