중국인과 일본인의 의료관광국가 선택 속성 비교분석: 대응일치분석을 활용하여 (Comparative Analysis of Selection Attributes for Medical Tourism Countries among Chinese and Japanese Tourists : Using Correspondence Analysis)

초록

본 연구는 한류의 영향과 의료관광으로 국내 방문빈도가 높은 중국인과 일본인 의료관광객을 대상으로 의료관광 선택 속성별 차이를 비교해보고, 대응일치분석을 활용하여 의료관광 국가별 선택 속성을 비교분석하고자 한다.
이는 의료관광객이 어떤 속성을 중심으로 각 국가를 선택하는지 결정 속성을 살펴보고, 향후 중국과 일본의 의료관광객을 유치하기 위한 전략적 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 중국인과 일본인을 대상으로 오프라인과 온라인으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 1,211명을 대상으로 최종분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 중국인과 일본인의 의료관광 선택속성은 일부 속성을 제외하고 유의한 차이가 있으며, 아시아 의료관광 선호국가로 중국인은 싱가포르, 한국, 기타국가 순으로 선호하였으며, 일본인은 싱가포르, 태국, 한국 순으로 선호하였다. 대응일치분석결과, 중국인과 일본인모두 각 국가를 선택 시 진료서비스를 받으면서 가족/동료/친지와 함께 할 수 있는 기회, 국내보다 안전하고 믿을 수있는 진료, 국제인증을 받은 병원에서의 진료가능성, 국내에서 치료받기 어려운 질병, 의료서비스와 관광을 함께 할수 있다는 점, 첨단의 의료시설 속성을 중요 속성으로 고려하였다. 그 밖에도 의료관광 국가별 선호하는 선택 속성에는 차이가 있었다. 결론에서는 연구결과의 요약과 시사점, 한계점 및 향후 연구 과제를 제시하였다.

영어초록

This study compares the difference in selection attributes of medical tourism targeting Chinese and Japanesemedical tourists who have high frequency of visiting Korea for medical tourism and with influence of Korean Wave.
The study also conducts a comparative analysis of selection attributes of each medical tourism country usingcorrespondence analysis. The purpose is to explore the determining attributes of medical tourists when they select acountry for medical tourism and to present some strategic implications in order to attract more medical tourists fromChina and Japan. The study conducted a questionnaire survey targeting Chinese and Japanese and the data of 1,211people were used for the final analysis. The result of the analysis showed significance differences in selectionattributes of medical tourism between the Chinese and the Japanese tourists except for some attributes. For a medicaltourism country in Asia, the Chinese preferred Singapore the most, followed by Korea and other countries. TheJapanese tourists’ preference was in the order of Singapore, Thailand and Korea. The result of correspondenceanalysis showed the important attributes considered by both Chinese and Japanese tourists were Opportunities to bewith my family/friends/relatives while being treated, Safer and more reliable treatment than my country, Availabilityof treatment in internationally accredited hospitals, Treatment of illness(disease) that is difficult to be treated in mycountry, The advantage that you can enjoy both medical service and tourism together, Advanced high-tech medicalfacilities. Besides, there were more differences in the selection attributes for preferring each medical tourism country.
In the conclusion, the study presented summary of the findings, implications, limitations and tasks for further studies.
