예비보육교사의 정서성과 의사소통 능력이 갈등관리 유형에 미치는 영향력 (The Influence of Preservice Child Care Teachers' Emotional state and Communication Skills on Conflict Management Type)

초록

본 연구는 부산지역 4년제 대학교 아동 관련 학과에 재학 중인 예비보육교사 194명을 대상으로 예비보육교사의 정서성과 의사소통 능력이 갈등관리 유형에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 합리적인 갈등관리 방안을 모색하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 수집된 자료로 변인의 Cronbach’α 신뢰도 계수를 산출하였고, 예비보육교사의 정서성, 의사소통 능력, 갈등관리 유형의 경향성을 분석하기 위해 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였다. 또한 예비보육교사의 정서성과 의사소통 능력이 갈등관리 유형에 미치는 영향력을 분석하기 위하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비보육교사의 정서성의 경향성은 긍정적 정서는 높게, 부정적 정서는 낮게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 의사소통 능력의 경향성에서 타인 이해와 의사소통은 높게 인식하고, 자기표현은 낮게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 갈등관리 유형의 경향성은 배려형, 통합형, 타협형, 회피형, 지배형 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비보육교사의 정서성과 의사소통 능력이 갈등관리 유형에 미치는 영향력에서 정서성의 하위요인 중 부정적 정서는 갈등관리 유형 중 지배형에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 갈등관리 유형 중 통합형에는 의사소통 능력의 하위요인 중 타인 이해와 자기표현이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 타협형, 배려형, 회피형에는 타인 이해가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지배형에는 자기표현이 정적영향을 미치고, 의사소통이 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 회피형에는 자기표현이 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 예비보육교사의 갈등관리 능력을 증진하기 위하여 정서성에 대한 인식과 부정적 정서의 조절이 필요하고, 의사소통 능력 중 타인 이해, 자기표현, 의사소통 기술을 증진하여 갈등 조절 및 관리를 통해 갈등 상황에서 합리적 대처가 필요함을 시사한다.

영어초록

This study analyzes the effects of pre-service child care teachers' emotional state and communication skills on the types of conflict management among 194 pre-service child care teachers enrolled in child-related departments at four-year universities in Busan, and aims to provide basic data for finding rational conflict management methods. With the collected data, Cronbach'α reliability coefficients of variables were calculated, and the mean and standard deviations were calculated to analyze the tendency of pre-service child care teachers' affectiveness, communication skills, and conflict management type. In addition, multiple regression analysis was conducted to analyze the influence of pre-service child care teachers' emotional state and communication skills on conflict management type. The results of the study were as follows. First, it was found that the tendency of pre-service child care teachers to perceive positive emotions as high and negative emotions as low. In terms of the tendency of communication skills, it was found that the perception of understanding and communication of others was high, and self-expression was low. The tendency of the conflict management type was in the order of caring, integrating, compromising, avoidant, and dominant. Second, in the influence of pre-service child care teachers' emotional state and communication skills on the type of conflict management, it was found that negative emotions among the subfactors of affectiveness had a negative effect on the dominant type among the conflict management types. Among the types of conflict management, it was found that the understanding of others and self-expression among the subfactors of communication ability were affected by the integrated type, and the understanding of others was found to have an effect on the compromise, considerate, and avoidant types. It was found that self-expression had a positive effect and communication had a negative effect on the dominant type, and self-expression had a negative effect on the avoidant type. This suggests that in order to improve the conflict management ability of pre-service child care teachers, it is necessary to recognize affectiveness and control negative emotions, and to improve the understanding of others, self-expression, and communication skills among the communication skills to deal rationally in conflict situations through conflict control and management.
