효율적 유치원 전환 방안에 관한 부모와 교사의 의견 (Parents and Teachers' View on Strategies of Effective Transition to Kindergarten)

초록

본 연구에서는 66명의 부모와 56명의 교사를 대상으로 유치원 전환 방안에 관한 부모의 의견이 자녀의 발달지체 유무와 교육기관에 따라, 또한 교사의 의견은 보내는 팀과 받는 팀의 교육기관에 따라 다른지를 알아보았다. 개방형의 기술 문항으로 제시된 질문내용을 범주에 따라 분석한 결과, 전체적으로 부모들은 효율적인 유치원 전환을 위해서는 「전환 활동」을 가장 높은 비율로 응답하였고, 정확한 아동평가의 전제, 보조교사 제도의 실시, 유아의 적정 인원수 제한의 필요성과 부모와 유치원 교사간의 상담과 정보교환이 중요한 것으로 보았다. 특히, 발달지체유아의 부모들은 「제도적 차원」에서 우선 유치원 교육이 공교육 제도로 정착되는 것이 중요하다고 보았다. 그리고 교사 의견의 분석 결과, 보내는 팀에서는 「의식 전환」이, 그리고 받는 팀에서는 「제도적 차원」의 방안이 높은 비율로 나타났고, 교사 집단에서 공통적으로, 유아의 유치원 전환에 관련된 모든 구성원들의 인식 전환과 기관간 협력의 필요성을 효율적 유치원 방안으로 보았다. 본 연구에서는 연구결과를 통하여 얻은 효율적 유치원 전환에 관한 방안으로부터 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영어초록

Transition is a lifelong process, and by its very nature is a process of change. For children, after the family, kindergarten is likely to be the most profound influence in an child's life. They are entering the formal system of schooling which extends for next school years. But, leaving early childhood special education(ECSE) programs and entering a new one is usually stressful for children with disabilities and their families. For children with developmental delays specific compensatory strategies are likely to be needed for kindergarten entry.
The specific purpose of this study is to make out the method of effective transition to kindergarten. Therefore, the study is to analysis parents and teachers' view on strategies of effective transition to kindergarten for early children with/without developmental delay.
The research question of this study are as fellows; First, is there are difference as children's institution in parent's view on strategies of effective transition to kindergarten? Second, is there are difference as teacher's institution in teacher's view on strategies of effective transition to kindergarten? To analyze of data, Opened-questionnaire adapted in order to analyze the content of data as part of transition methods on effective transition to kindergarten for early children with/without developmental delay.
The results and discussion of this study was as fellows; The study appeared that, in order for them to adapt to kindergarten settings, should do accurate assessment, do executive assistant teacher system, and do limitation to fitting class numbers of early children, first of all, is important counseling between parents and teachers, and exchange information. For the parent's view of children with developmental delay, the findings of this study pointed out that first of all, should fix kindergarten education as public education system. The suggestion drawn from the conclusion in the study was as fellows; First, The further study have a necessity of study on the effect of transition in education settings after leaving kindergarten.
Second, The further study have a necessity of case study on inter-agencies to be needed cooperation of education agencies, and counseling of parents and teachers, communication․cooperation between STM (Sending Team Members) and RTM (Receiving Team Members).
Third, The further study have a necessity of study on transition to kindergarten as subjects personnels who are education administrator, and parents and facility in special schools for early children with developmental delay excluded in this study.
Fourth, The following study have a necessity of study for early children in multiple context transition processes.
