독일어권 학습자를 위한 한국어 교재의 통시적 연구 (A diachronic Study on the Korean Textbook for German)

초록

본 연구는 독어권 한국어 교재를 시기별로 나누어 살펴보았다. 첫째, 1923년부터 1945년까지로 문법서 위주로 한국어 교재가 편찬된 시대라 할 수 있다. 둘째, 1946년에서 1988년까지로 해방 이후 대학 기관의 종합교재가 나오기 이전까지의 시대이다. 셋째, 1989년부터 1999년까지의 시대로 다른 시대에 비해 비교적 짧은 시간이지만 한국 대학 기관에서의 교육이 활성화되면서 한국어 교재가 안정적인 발전기에 접어든 시점이다. 넷째, 2000년 이후 지금까지의 교재들을 살펴보았다. 이 시기의 교재들은 주로 상황중심교수요목과 문법중심교수요목이 혼합되어 있는 형태들이 많았다. 또한 대조언어학적 관점에서 문법을 설명한 부분과 문화 등도 함께 제시되어 있었다. 가장 최근에 나온『독일어권 학습자를 위한 한국어』는 읽기와 쓰기에 집중되어 있는 교재였다. 이 교재들을 분석한 결과 아쉬운 점이 있다면 의사소통중심의 교재가 아직도 부재하다는 것이다. 향후 독일어권 학습자를 위한 교재 개발에 의사소통 중심의 교재 개발을 위한 연구가 필요하다.

There are differences that depend on time in Korean textbooks from Germany.
First of all, Korean textbooks were comprised mainly of grammar from 1923 to 1945. For example, Koreanische Konversations-Grammatik mit Lesestücken und Gesprachen written by Eckardt has 45 chapters including grammar, vocabulary, reading, workbook and speaking. This book has a good explanation for Korean and students can practise their reading skill and writing skill based on the grammar.
A second period is from 1946 to 1988 before current forms of textbook weren’t set up. There are many textbooks with audio-lingual teaching methode. The representative book for this period is Übungsbuch der koreanischen Sprache written by Eckardt. The book has 20 chapters which includes vocabulary, grammar, workbook, reading and speaking. Students can learn each section of Korean equally expect listening part.
Even though the third period from 1988 to 1999 is relatively shorter than other periods, it is very important period that textbooks start developing as invigoration of Korean education in Korean universities. For example, Wege zur Koreanischen Sprache, written by Jin Kwon Park, has 4 chapters. The first chapter which name is basic expression is about basic vocabulary such as personal pronoun, interrogative pronouns, basic verb, and conjunction. The second chapter’s name is essential idiom. The chapter introduce idioms about greeting, introduction and time. The third chapter, practical sentence, introduces sentences for particular situations such as ‘in an airport’, ‘in a hotel’ and etc. The final chapter, conversation, suggests conversation in some situations.
The last period is form 2000. These textbooks are developed with a 'situated language approach'. It also considers how technological advances have impacted on Korean language textbooks in recent times. The famous textbook in this time is Koreanisch: Praktische Gespräche. It is not only the textbook for German speaker but for general student and has translated to many languages. The textbook includes basis, body, and supplement. lernen & üben KOREANISCH is divide to letters, pronunciation, grammar, communication and vocabulary. It has a verb table, solutions and a small Korean-German dictionary at the end of the book. The vocabulary part has some important words and related words, and the grammar part includes postposition, verb, connective suffix and Korean number. The communication part mainly comprises of situations and suggests simple sentences.
