구어 교육적 관점에서의 ‘-지 않아요?’ 연구 (A Study on ‘-지 않아요?’ in Terms of Spoken Language Teaching)

초록

There has been active research on spoken language teaching, since much interest has been paid to it recently. The Korean learners have to be trained properly in the spoken language usages, expressions and meanings so that they may fluently communicate with the native speakers; however it does not seem that spoken language training has been adequately done in the institutions or programs. The present article confirms that the much frequently used expression ‘-지 않아요’ by the native speakers is not properly practised by the Korean learners, and that, with a thorough examination of dictionaries and textbooks, the spoken expressions training has not been made well. To teach the spoken expression ‘-지 않아요’, it should be taught with a variety of its insinuation, and also with the specific context of its discourse, strategy and attitude so that the learners may understand the intention and function of the expression more clearly. This is why the present article examines the descriptions of ‘-지 않아요’ in dictionaries and gives some suggestions for a better education of the spoken language.
