발달장애 아동을 위한 협동학습의 원리와 수업적응방안 (A principle of Cooperative Leaming and Instruction Adaptation Planfor Children with Development Disabilities)

초록

일반학급에서 발달장애아동이 협동학습에 참여하여 교과과정상의 목표를 수행하는 경우, 장애아동들이 소외되거나 밀려나는 존재가 아닌 집단의 구성원으로서 당당히 활동하는 것이 필요하다. 본연구는 발달장애아동의 통합교육을 위한 협동학습의 신념과 원리를 이해하고, 장애아동들이 자신의 책임과 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위한 수업계획과 적응방안을 모색하고자 한다.
연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통합교육에서 협동학습의 신념은, 모든 학생에게 이로운 것이며, 포괄적인 학교개건의 부분이며, 교사들의 헙력에 의한다는 믿음이다. 둘째, 장애아동의 통합교육을 위한 협동학습의 원리는, 협동적인 교실 윤리가 수립되어야하고, 유의미 학습을 촉진하며. 지원적인 이질집단으로 구성되며, 모든 학생들의 참여 활동이 보장되고, 진보에 의한 평가가 이루어진다. 결론에 따른 제언으로 발달장애 아동을 위한 협동학습이 성공하려면, 우리사회, 학교, 교실에서장애아동에 판한 다양성과 이질성이 있는 그대로 존중되는 풍토의 조성이 필요하며, 협동학습의 계획과 수업 적응을 위해 일반교사와 특수교사의 협력과 보조교사제도의 도입도 적극 고려되어야 할 것이며, 우리의 교육 현장에서 협동학습 실제에 대한 실증적인 후속연구들이 이어져야 할 것이다.

영어초록

There exist a number of difficulties for children with development disabilities involved in regular classrooms to participate in cooperative learning activities performing the cumcular goal. it is necessary for them to be accepted in that cooperative learning activities as agroup member rather than to be neglected or pushed out from the activities. Therefore, this study will understand the concepts and principles of cooperative learning for the inclusive education of children with development disabilities and prepare an instruction and adaptation plan with its additional considerations which help those children perform their responsibilities and roles in cooperative learning activities.
The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, the concepts of cooperative learning in inclusive education are defined as Cooperative leaming(CL) is good for all students; CL is part of comprehensive school reform; and means teachers' belief in cooperation. Second, the principles of cooperative leaning for inclusion of children with disabilities are defined as CL means establishing a cooperative classroom ethic; CL facilitates teaching meaningful content; CL depends on supportive heterogeneous group; CL requires structures that ensure the active participation of all students; and CL provides opportunities for ongoing evaluation.The suggestions based on the study conclusion are as follows.First, for successful results of cooperative learning for children with development disabilities, it requires an environment created in classrooms, schools and our whole society which allows natural acception of children with disabilities as they are with their diversityand difference. Second, for a successful cooperative learning plan for children with disabilities and instruction adaptation of them, it needs cooperation between general teacher sand special education teachers and preferably, instruction of assistant teacher system shouldbe considered. Third, there should be future follow-up studies about the cooperative learning practices in our education scene.
