광양항 배후단지를 위한 신성장동력 산업결정요인에 관한 연구 (Determinants of New Growth Engine for Gwangyang Port Hinterland)

초록

본 연구는 광양항 활성화를 위해 배후단지에 적합한 신성장동력을 발굴하고, 여기에 영향을 미치는 결정요인들을 분석하는 데 주요 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 신성장동력 선정시 고려되는 주요 속성 및 세부 속성요인별 우선순위를 도출하고, 신성장동력 산업의 주요 속성별중요도를 평가하기 위해 AHP 분석기법을 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 광양항 배후단지 내 신성장동력 선정요인의 주요 속성에 대한 중요도 평가에서는 지역경제 활성화 요인, 화물관리효율성 요인, 고부가 물동량 창출 요인 순으로 나타났다. 주요 속성별 세부 속성의 종합적인 중요도 평가에서는 고용창출효과, 인근 산단과의 연계성, 지역산업 발전 유도, 수출입 물동량 증가 등의 순으로 높게 나타남으로써 이들 속성이 광양항 배후단지 신성장동력 선정시 중대한 영향을 미치는 주요 결정요인들이라고 할 수 있다. 신성장동력 산업 선정과 관련된 최종 대안별 평가 결과에서는 해양플랜트 부품 ․ 소재가 가장 높게 평가되었고, 이어서항공우주 부품 ․ 소재, 기능성/바이오화학소재, 3D 프린팅소재, 콜드체인 순으로 중요하게 나타났다. 분석결과를 근거로, 고용창출효과 등 지역경제 활성화 측면에서 항공우주 부품 ․ 소재산업이 유망하고, 인근 산단과의 연계 등 화물의 효율적 관리 측면에서는 해양플랜트 부품 ․ 소재산업이 유망하다고 할 수 있다.

Purpose : The purpose of this paper is to analyze the major determinants of new growth engines for Gwangyang port hinterland.
Research design, data, methodology : This paper used Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to examine the importance of alternatives for the new growth engine. In addition, the importance of three criteria(product management efficiency, regional economic vitalization, value-added shipments) and nine sub-criteria that are considered to select the new growth engine were analyzed using AHP.
Results : According to the empirical analysis, one result shows that regional economic vitalization is the most important criterion, while value-added shipments is the least important among these three criteria. The other result shows that offshore parts and materials is the most important industry, and then aerospace parts and materials, functional materials, 3D printing materials and cold chain are in the order of their importance.
Conclusions : This paper shows that job creation, interface with industrial complex, local industrial development, import and export trade volume are the major determinants of new growth engines for Gwangyang port hinterland.
