초록

본 연구는 코로나팬데믹 이후 더욱 주목받고 있는 섬 관광의 활성화를 위해, 특히 MZ세대의 섬 관광행동의도에 관한 영향요인을 확장된 목표지향적 행동모델을 적용하여 확인하고자 하였다. 확장변수로써 탈일상동기를, 조절변수로써 SNS자아표현동기 및 지각된 심리적 친밀감 요인을 설정하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, MZ세대들의 섬 관광에 대한 긍정적 예기정서, 부정적 예기정서는 섬 관광에 대한 열망을 매개로 섬 관광 행동의도에 영향을 주었고, 지각된 행동통제는 직접적으로 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 태도와 주관적 규범, 지각된 행동통제 등이 열망에 영향을 미치지 않는 반면 오직 긍정적 또는 부정적 예기정서만이 섬 관광에 대한 열망에 영향을 미치고, 열망을 매개로 섬 관광행동의도에 영향을 주었다. 또한 확장변수인 탈일상동기를 자아확장동기 및 자아회피동기의 2개 차원으로 구분하여 분석한 결과, 자아확장동기는 열망에, 자아회피동기는 행동의도에 영향을 주었다. 조절변수로써 SNS자아표현동기는 섬 관광 행동의도에 영향을 미치지 않은 반면, 지각된 심리적 친밀감의 정도는 섬 관광 행동의도의 영향 요인으로 확인되었다. MZ세대는 섬에 대한 정보가 많고, 자주 노출되고 접촉할수록 섬에 대한 심리적 친밀감이 높아질수록, 그리고 섬 관광에 대한 긍정적 또는 부정적 예기정서가 자극되었을 때 섬 관광에 대한 열망과 행동의도가 높아지는 것으로 확인되었다.

영어초록

This study focused on the island as an axis of potential domestic tourism resources, and in particular, tried to identify influencing factors related to the intention of island tourism behavior of the generation MZ by applying an extended Model of Goal-directed Behavior(MGB). The results of the analysis by setting the Escapism Motives as an expansion variable and SNS self-expression motives and perceived psychological intimacy factors as a control variable are as follows. First, it was discovered that the generation MZ's positive and negative expectations of island tourism influenced island tourism behavioral intentions through the desire for island tourism, and perceived behavioral control also directly affects behavioral intentions through desire. Unlike factors of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control did not affect the desire to island tourism, only positive and negative anticipated emotions influenced the desire for island tourism. In addition, among the extended variables, self-expansion motives influenced the desire and self-suppression motives affected the behavioral intention. As a moderating variable, SNS self-expression motives did not affect the behavioral intention to island tourism, while the degree of perceived psychological intimacy was identified as an influencing factor of the behavior intention. It has been confirmed that the more information the generation MZ has about an island, the more frequently the information about an island are exposed and contacted, the higher their psychological intimacy with an island, and their desire and behavior intention for island tourism by stimulating their expectations.
