초록

본 연구는 병영생활전문상담관(상담관)의 상담성과가 있는 상담 사례를 통해 군상담의 실제를 경험하고 바른 이해를 돕는다. 연구는 Clandinin과 Connelly(2000)의 내러티브 탐구 다섯 단계로 이뤄졌다. 정기 면담, 추가 면담 녹음한 현장 자료를 연구자가 직접 전사했다. 상담관의 상담성과 경험을 상담자 기법, 태도, 경력과 전문성 중심으로 이야기했다. 기법은 내담자에 대한 종합적 이해와 적절한 개입으로 확인됐다. 태도는 내담자에 무조건적 존중과 공감적 이해, 비언어 사용으로 나타났다. 경력과 전문성은 공식적 교육과정 후 워크샵 참여, 상담전문가 수퍼비전, 동료 수퍼비전, 지속적 성찰로 전문성을 유지했다. 상담관은 상담과 개인적 특성 통합으로 전문상담자 발달을 이루고, 정체성을 유지하며 상담성과를 내고 있다. 본 연구는 군상담의 상담 실제를 내러티브 탐구로 다룬 연구의 희소성이 있다. 또한 군상담에 대한 이해를 높여 인식을 개선하고 상담자 중심으로 연구해 상담관의 질적 측면을 숙고하는 계기가 되었다. 이는 장병의 심리적 안녕과 사고예방에 기여 할 것이다.

This study makes you experience the reality of military counseling through practical counseling cases which demonstrate counseling outcomes of military professional counselors and helps to properly comprehend them. The study consists of five steps in the Narrative Inquiry of Clandinin & Connelly(2000). The researcher transcribed the field data recorded in the regular and additional counseling in person. The study conveys the counseling outcomes of military professional counselors focusing on factors such as counseling technique, attitude, career and expertise. The technique was shown with proper intervention and overall understanding for the clients. The attitude was considered to show unconditional respect, empathetic understanding and using nonverbal language for the clients. The career and expertise were kept to be professional by participating in workshops after the official training courses, professional counselor supervision, associate supervision and continuous introspection. In addition, the counselor achieves development of professional counseling, maintains identity and makes outcome at counseling by categorizing and unifying the individual characteristics as well as by counseling. This study has scarcity itself in that it researched the actual military counseling with the narrative inquiry. Futhermore, the study brought the researcher an opportunity to deliberate the qualification of a counselor with the comprehension of military counseling developed, with awareness improved and with the counselors focused on. It would contributes to the psychological health of soldiers and to preventing them from accidents.
