인지근원에서 살펴본 조현병의 발생 메커니즘 탐구 (An Investigation of the Occurrence Mechanism of Schizophrenia in the Cognitive Origin)

초록

이 연구는 인지 근원을 통해 조현병 발생의 유전적 기저를 밝히고 그 기저가 환경적 요인과 결합하여 어떻게 조현병이 발병하는가를 탐구하였다. ‘인지 근원’은 특정 장애의 특성들을 포함하여 인간의 다양한 인지심리 현상들의 근본적인 생성 원인과 그에 따른 심층적 생성 메커니즘을 설명할 수 있어 조현병의 두뇌 구조적인 유전적 원인과 인지 심리적 원인, 그리고 이들에 영향을 미치는 환경적 원인을 구체적으로 찾는데 유용한 프레임을 제공해준다. 결과에 따르면, 조현병은 기본적으로 두뇌 인지공간이 과도하게 성장한 인지공간장애라는 두뇌 구조적 원인에 기초하며, 환경 속에서 그 장애로부터 위계적으로 나타나는 감각과 기억 그리고 사고와 관련된 여러 장애 증상들로 인해 ‘정서과다’가 발생된다. 정서과다 상태의 ‘인지시동체’인 ‘나’가 과도하게 활성화되고, 이후 특정 활성화 요인을 추가적으로 경험하여 ‘나’가 최고조로 활성화되면 감각과 인지, 정서와 행동 등 모든 영역에서 심각한 비정상성을 보이는 조현병에 이르게 된다. 조현병의 유전적 기반이 되는 유전자나 생화학물질 등 생물학적 원인을 찾는 현행 연구가 혼란을 겪고 있는 상황에서, 본 연구에서 제시된 두뇌 구조적, 인지 심리적, 환경적 원인을 연결한 메커니즘은 향후 해당 유전자와 생화학물질을 역으로 확인하여 조현병 발생의 메커니즘을 최종적으로 완성하는 연구를 위한 기반을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 본 논문은 이 메커니즘을 바탕으로 조현병과 관련된 개념의 혼란을 일관성 있게 정리하고, 조현병 발생 예방을 위한 단계별 전략과 조현병 치료를 위한 구체적인 방향제시를 시사하고 있다.

영어초록

This study explored the genetic basis of schizophrenia through the cognitive origin and explored how schizophrenia develops in combination with environmental factors. The cognitive origin can explain the underlying causes of the various cognitive psychological phenomena in humans, including the characteristics of specific disorders, and the mechanisms by which they develop in depth. It provides a useful frame for identifying specific environmental impacts. The results showed that schizophrenia is basically based on the brain structural cause, namely ‘cognitive spatial disorder,’ which the brain's cognitive space has grown excessively. The various disorder symptoms related to sensory, memory, and thinking that occur hierarchically from the disorder in the environment cause excessive emotions. The excessive emotions make the cognitive activator, ‘I' excessively activated, and after further experience of specific activation factors, 'I' is activated at the highest level, and show serious abnormalities in all areas such as sensation, cognition, emotion and behavior, which are in the state of schizophrenia. In the midst of the current confusion of finding biological causes such as genes and biochemicals that are the genetic basis of schizophrenia, the mechanism linking the brain structural, cognitive psychological and environmental causes presented in this study could provide the basis for the study to finally complete the mechanism of schizophrenia development through the reverse pursuit to the genetic and biochemical causes. In addition, this paper, based on this mechanism, provided discussions to cope with the confusion of the concept related to schizophrenia and suggests a step-by-step strategy for the prevention of schizophrenia and specific directions for the treatment of schizophrenia.
