한국 재래종 벼 유전자원의 이삭 및 종실 관련 질적형질 특성 변이 (Distribution of Qualitative Traits on Panicle and Grain in Korean Native Rice Germplasms)

초록

This study was conducted to provide the fundamental information on qualitative traits of
panicle and grain in Korean native rices. A total of 793 Korean native rice germplasm were investigated
and correlations among panicle and grain traits were identified. In panicle type, intermediate, compact
and open type were 97.4%, 1.5% and 1.1%, respectively. In spikelet color, yellowish white, brown,
golden and blackish purple were 71.5%, 14.0%, 6.8% and 3.5%, respectively. In apiculus color, yellowish
white, light purple, brown, purple and blackish purple were 33.8%, 27.7%, 18.2%, 7.8% and 5.4%,
respectively. A total of 621 accessions of Korean rice germplasm, which is about 78.3%, were awned ,and
awn color were yellowish white, light purple, brown, purple and blackish purple and the ratio of it were
35.9%, 16.3%, 6.2%, 4.3% and 3.8%, respectively. In seedcoat color, white, brown, green and black
were 95.7%, 3.4%, 0.8% and 0.1%, respectively. Non-waxy occupied 85.1% in endosperm type, and the
shattering habit of Non(1% below), hard(1~5%) and easy(25% over) were 41.0%, 26.0% and 8.8%,
respectively. In 1000 grain weight of brown rice, that of Non shattering habit group was higher than
easy shattering habit group, but the correlation was not observed between awn and 1000 grain weight of
brown rice. In length/width ratio of brown rice, that of awnless, brown seedcoat and easy shattering
habit group were higher than awned, white seedcoat and an Non shattering habit group, respectively. In
shattering habit, that of awned and white seedcoat group were lower than awnless and brown seedcoat
group, respectively.
