초록

This paper presented 31×31 inter-city spatial preferences in Gyeonggi-Do which residents, participated directly in the real hosing market, are psychologically aware of. Preference ratings of 31 cities in Gyeinggi-Do were significantly different, but their ranks were consistent in 99% confidence levels. Gwacheon was evaluated to be the most preferred city, as a whole, the more a city is closer to Seoul, the more its preference was highly rated in objective. But in relative, the most preferred city to each one was the most developed one among adjacent ones. And these relative spatial preference of Gyeonggi-Do gradually moved from outside to inside finally to Gwacheon, via the nucleus cities. And the objective and relative preference of the 31×31 inter-city spatial preference were significantly different in 99% confidence levels. The relative preference is more sensitive to a inter-city distance especially if being currently residential area or adjacent to it. This paper is expected to be helpful to analyze patterns of intercity population movement of Gyeonggi-Do and select the main target cities to promote new housing projects by inter-city spatial preferences.
