초록

In the casino industry there is a dearth of researches related to self management, being emphasized for a successful adaptation to rapidly changing business environment. It is certain that main concepts in self management are empowerment and self-leadership and many researches are interested in identifying causal effect of these concepts on dependent variables such as job satisfaction, customer orientation, organizational commitment. But it lacks researches trying to identify core dimensions comprising two concepts and differences in impact of them on organizational efficiency. Moreover previous studies didn't pay attention to multiple attributes of each construct nor various mediating variables essential for comprehensive understanding causal relationship between self management and organizational efficiency. In this regard the study aimed at achieving following objectives differentiating it from previous researches. Firstly, to identify core dimension of each construct forming theoretical model. Secondly, to identify differences in impact of empowerment and self-leadership on organizational efficiency through mediating effect. Thirdly, to propose a comprehensive theoretical model being helpful for further research in this theme. Based on the empirical results theoretical and managerial implications were discussed.
