중·고등학교 복싱선수들의 신체적 자기개념 분석 (Physical Self-description Analysis of Middle and High school Boxers)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 중․ 고등학교 복싱선수들의 신체에 대한 올바른 인식과 가치관을 정립하고 자신의 신체에 대하여 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 2009년 12월에 개최되었던 충북 교육감기 복싱대회 겸 제30회 전국소년체육대회 1차선발대회에 출전한 중학생, 30명, 고등학생 35명 등 총 65명을 대상으로 Marsh 등(1994)이 개발한 질문지를 김병준(2001)이한국 실정에 맞도록 개발한 질문지를 사용하여 측정한 후 연구결과를 비교하기 위하여 t-test와 일원배치 분산분석을 실시하였다. 이상의 연구방법 및 연구결과를 기초로 하여 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중․ 고등학교 복싱 선수들의 신체적자기 개념 평가정도를 비교한 결과 외모, 신체활동, 자기 존중감, 지구력, 신체전반의 5개 요인에서 유의하게 나타났으며, 각요인에 대하여 고등학생이 중학생보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 학년별 복싱선수들의 신체적 자기개념, 외모, 신체활동, 지구력,신체 전반의 4개 요인에서 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 외모는 고2, 고1, 중1, 중2의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 경력에 따른선수들의 신체적 자기개념 평가에서는 지구력 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 2년 이상, 2년 이내, 1년 이내의 순으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 체급별로 신체적 자기개념을 평가한 결과 중량급, 경량급별로 스포츠 유능감, 체지방(날씬함), 신체활동,지구력, 근력, 신체전반 등에서는 중량급 선수가 더 높게 나타났다.

영어초록

This research has an objective to recast the role of boxing by establishing a correct awareness and values and understanding self-description on physic to middle and high school students elite boxers, and to analysis physical description of amateur boxers. In order to achieve this purpose,65 boxers who anticipated middle and high school boxing championship on Chungbuk superintendent flag at present December 2009 were sampled as a universe. This research questionnaire was used physical self-description Korea version scale which was developed by Kim Byeong Jun in order to fit Korea situation from Marsh's cultivated physical self-description questionnaire(1994), and used after verifying the validity and reliability through preliminary survey. Statistical package SPSS 12.0 Ver was used for the analysis. Also T-test and dispersion analysis was conducted in order to compare physical self-description of boxers by grade, career,weight of middle and high school students. Following conclusion was obtained through data analysis of this research and procedure. First, as a result to compare physical self-description of boxers of middle and hight school. five elements of appearance, physical activity, self-esteem,endurance and overall body among 10 elements showed the significant difference and high school students showed high rating scale compare to middle school students on each element. Second,as a result of comparison for physical self-description of boxers by grade, four elements of appearance, physical activity, endurance, and overall body among 10 elements showed the significant difference by grade, and showed that lowest valuation was middle school students 2grade and highest valuation was hight school students 2 grade among them. Third, as a result of physical self-description by career, one elements of endurance, physical activity and endurance among 10 elements showed high evaluation scale to more experienced boxers. Finally, as a result of comparison for physical self-description by weight, six elements of sport competence, fat,physical activity, endurance, muscle strength, and overall body showed highest evaluation on heavy weight boxers, and evaluation of slimness showed highest on lightweight boxers and evaluation of fat showed lowest on heavy weight boxers.
