국악교육의 수행평가를 위한 루브릭 개발 연구 －초등학교 3, 4학년 제재곡을 중심으로－ (A Study on the Development of Rublic for the Performance Assessment of Korean Traditional Music Education －Focusing on the unit for third and fourth graders in elementary schools－)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 객관적인 학교 국악교육 평가의 활용을 위한 수행평가 루브릭을 개발하는 것이다. 개발된 평가 루브릭은 2007 개정 음악과 교육과정에 의한 초등학교 3,4학년 국악 제재곡과 단원을 대상으로 하였으며 활동 영역별로 목록화하여 제시하였다. 이를 위한 연구 방법은 준비 단계, 개발 단계, 평가 단계의 세 부분으로 나누어 개발하였으며, 절차에 대한 구체적인 개발 과정의 내용은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 루브릭 개발을 위한 수행평가 관련 문헌자료를 분석하였고, 음악과 교육과정 및 교과서을 통해 루브릭의 개발 절차와 평가의 범주를 도출하였다. 둘째, 국악교육에 대한 성취기준을 바탕으로 국악 활동의 수행 과제와 평가 방법을 결정하였다. 셋째, 국악활동 영역별 주제에 따라 루브릭의 형태를 선정하고, 과제의 준거를 설정한 후 평가 척도를 개발하였다. 넷째, 개발된 루브릭에 타당성과 신뢰도를 확보하기 위해 1차 루브릭을 현장교사와 국악교육 전문가에게 의뢰하여 문제점 및 개선점에 대한 검증을 받아 다시 수정하여 최종 국악 수행평가 루브릭을 완성하였다.
이렇게 개발된 국악교육 수행평가를 위한 루브릭의 특징으로는 첫째, 국악 제재곡의 목표와 활동을 분석하여 영역별 구체적인 성취 수준을 제시하였다. 둘째, 학생들의 국악 활동에 대한 음악 성취결과 및 산출물에 대한 루브릭의 준거를 목록화 하였다. 셋째, 학생은 물론 학부모들이 이해를 도모할 수 있는 등급에 따른 구체적인 채점 기준을 제시하였다. 이상의 연구 결과로 기대되는 교육적 효과로는 국악교육 평가의 객관성을 높여 보다 공정한 참 평가를 가능하게 할 것이며, 더 나아가 국악 교수－학습의 모든 과정을 중시하는 활동 중심의 국악수업을 가능하게 하여 학교 국악교육의 질적 개선에 도움을 줄 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study lies in developing Rublic which may be utilized for the performance assessment of Korean traditional music education. The developed Rublic aimed at the Korean traditional music unit for third and fourth graders in elementary schools in accordance with the 2007 revised music curriculum, and Rublic was proposed by being categorized by each activity area (singing, playing musical instruments, music composition, and appreciation). Concerning research methods for this, Rublic was developed by being divided into the following three parts:preparation stage, development stage, and assessment stage. The contents of detailed development process regarding its procedures include the following.
First, the study analyzed literature data relative to the performance assessment for developing Rublic, and deduced the development procedures of Rublic and the category of its assessment through the music curriculum and the textbook. Second, the study determined the performance assignments and assessment methods for Korean traditional music activity based on the achievement criteria for Korean traditional music. Third, the study selected the type of Rublic according to the subject of each Korean traditional music area, and developed assessment scales after establishing the standard of assignments. Fourth, in order to ensure the validity of developed Rublic, the study asked current teachers and professionals in Korean traditional music for the review of the early form of Rublic; thereby, the study requested the verification of problems and things to improve concerning Rublic, and then the study modified and completed the final form of Rublic.
The characteristics of Rublic which was developed in this way for the performance assessment of Korean traditional music involve the following. First, Rublic proposed detailed achievement levels according to each level by analyzing the goal and activities of the Korean traditional music unit. Second, Rublic categorized the standard of Rublic regarding any results and products of Korean traditional music activities by students. Third, Rublic proposed detailed grading standards according to rating, with which the understanding not only of students but also of parents may also be promoted.
The following educational effects are expected from above research results. Rublic will make it possible to conduct a fairer authentic assessment by raising the objectivity of the Korean traditional music assessment, and furthermore, it will enable the offering of activity-focused Korean traditional music class which values all process of the teaching-learning of Korean traditional music, which will be committed to the qualitative improvement of Korean traditional music in schools.
