초등학교 6학년 학생의 ‘생태계 복원 계획 세우기’ 활동에 나타난 생태계 훼손과 복원에 대한 인식 (Awareness of Ecosystem Damage and Restoration in 6th Graders' 'Ecosystem Restoration Plan' Activity)

초록

이 연구의 목적은 지구 온난화와 환경 오염으로 인한 생태계 파괴와 생태계 복원에 대한 초등학생들의 생각을 조사하는 것이다. 수도권의 6학년 학생 31명이 연구에 참여했다. 학생들에게 생태계를 복원해야하는 이유를 조사하여 자신의 생각을 발표하도록 했다. 이 수업은 직소(Jigsaw) 협동학습을 적용하였고, 생태계 복원에 대한 대안을 정부, 환경 단체 및 지역 주민들의 입장에서 모색하도록 하였다. 환경 오염과 생태계 파괴의 원인은 기름 유출, 미세 먼지 및 황사, 폐기물 처리장, 살충제, 비료 및 매립 사업과 같은 5 가지 항목으로 나누었다. 그런 다음 문제를 해결하는 방법을 조사하고 논의했다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다; 학생들의 생태계 파괴의 가장 빈번한 원인은 매립 프로젝트 20.6 %, 해양 생태계 파괴는 오일 유출로 인해 18.7 %, 폐기물 문제는 18.1 %, 살충제 및 비료 사용은 17.4 %, 양호 먼지와 황사는 14.8 %, 나머지는 10.3 %였다. 생태계 복원에 대한 학생들의 생각을 정리하면 첫째, 지구 온난화 억제, 둘째, 생태계의 생명의 소중함의 이해, 셋째, 생태계가 파괴되면 회복하는 데 오랜 시간이 걸린다는 것이다. 학생들은 직소 수업모형의 전문가 그룹 활동을 통해 논의한 내용은 다음과 같다; 첫째, 정부 관점에서 환경 및 생태계 관련 법 제정 및 위반시 조항 강화, 환경 영향 평가 강화, 재해 편지 발송, 국립 공원 지정이었고, 둘째, 환경 단체 관점에서 캠페인 활성화 방향, 생태계 복원 방향, 정부 감시 강화, 생태계 파괴 상황 조사, 희생자 지원, 나무 심기 등이 제안되었다. 셋째, 지역 주민의 입장에서 폐기물을 재활용 할 수 있도록 별도의 배출, 식목, 일회용품의 사용량 감소 등의 방안을 제안하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate elementary school students' thinking about ecosystem destruction and restoration caused by global warming and environmental pollution. 31 sixth graders in the metropolitan city had participated in the study. They presented their thoughts on why they should restore the ecosystem. The lessons were applied to the government, environmental groups, and local residents by applying the jigsaw model, a form of cooperative learning, to explore alternatives to ecosystem restoration. The causes of environmental pollution and destruction were divided into five items such as oil spill, fine dust and yellow dust, waste disposal plant, pesticide, fertilizer and reclamation business. They then investigated and discussed ways to solve the problem. According to the results of the study: the most frequent cause of ecosystem destruction suggested by students was reclamation project 20.6%, marine ecosystem destruction was 18.7% due to oil spill, waste problem was 18.1%, pesticide and fertilizer use was 17.4%, fine dust and yellow dust was 14.8%, and others was 10.3%; The idea of restoring ecosystems suggested that the first thing to do is to curb global warming, second, the preciousness of life in the ecosystem, and third, it took a long time to recover if the ecosystem was destroyed; The following points were discussed through the expert group: first, from the viewpoint of the government, enactment of environmental and ecosystem related laws and strengthening of provisions in case of violation, strengthening of environmental impact assessment, disaster letter sending, national park designation, second, from the viewpoint of environmental groups, the direction of campaign activation, ecosystem restoration direction, strengthening of government surveillance, investigation of ecosystem destruction situation, support for victims, planting trees were suggested. third, from the viewpoint of local residents, we suggested measures such as separate discharge, tree planting, and less use of disposable items so that the waste can be recycled.
