초록

This study is a descriptive research that aimed to analysis the relationship among the knowledge, attitude, self-confidence, and ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) of seafarers, and to identify the factors affecting their performance ability of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR). The subjects in this study were 74 seafarers. And a questionnaire survey, an observation assessment and equipment measurement for their ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) were conducted. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Welch’s test, Games-Howell test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and Multiple Linear Regression, with SPSS WIN 23.0 program. Performance ability on cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) was found to be in a significant positive correlation with attitude, self-confidence. Factors affecting the ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) were CPR training within 2 years. Therefore, programs for cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) retraining at 2 years intervals should be developed to maintain the performance ability of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR), as recommended by the American Heart Association.
