Harmful Effects of TechnologyTechnology grows slowly at the early stage of human history. The first tool comes into the world 250 years ago, and agriculture and stock farming are developed 10000 years ago. However, development of technology gets faster every day. Also, the life of human being is decided by a technical standard, and we depend on technology from beginning to end. Even though technology has been profitable, it doesn’t do enough to help the whole.Above all, we have got air pollution and some other environmental contamination by developing of technology. A good illustration is the Industrial Revolution, which took place in 18th century. The Industrial Revolution provided us with societies in which we can live longer, healthier and happier lives than in the pre-industrial period. However, it pollutes pure water, air and. When they don’t see the effects of pollution, some people think that environmental contamination is not an important matter, but pollution returns to our disease problems in the end.Moreover, in the middle of technological civilization developing, our mindsets and attitudes to use it fail. Of late, infringement of human right in the Internet bulletin board making the bad use of anonymity and formation of false public opinion has become a social issue. A social position is not exposed in compute network, Especially, speaking ill of specific politicians or stars is terrible. Also, the wrong anti culture that abuse others at random or teenager sex buying and selling, morale etc. are threatening teenagers.Lastly, development of technology drained resources of energy. In particular, many countries relied for its energy on petroleum, natural gas and coal. Korea is the world fourth-largest crude buyer and depends on imports for all its oil supply. Namely, It appears that as we are heavily dependent on fossil fuel for most of energy, exhaustion of fossil fuel will result in grave crisis. Development of technology is indispensable condition in the future, but we don’t forget suffers and pollution of environment.
