Introduction of the country I want to travelThere are many beautiful places to visit in many different countries. I am appealed to the beauty and diversity of India. India is fascinating and incredible to me due to its myriad cultures, religions, languages and landscapes. It is a place where we can find highly elevated snow filled mountains, small hills, deserts, plains, agricultural fields, huge rivers, sea altogether within the boundary of a single country. It is rare to see such landscapes in any other single country except may be huge countries like USA, China or Australia. It’s a country spread in length from Himalayan mountain ranges in the north to the peninsular south India famous for its ancient temples and splendid coastal foothills ending in Indian Ocean. Its eastern most part where the sun’s first morning rays show on this country is named after the sun which means “Arun” in the country’s ancient language Sanskrit. Its climate may be broadly described as a tropical monsoon type. There is winter season from December to February, summers from March to June, monsoon from July to September and post-monsoon from October to November. However, the climate varies depending on the terrain. Himalayan regions have four seasons similar to Korea.India is one of the ancient civilizations in this world. In the course of ancient to modern times, many people from central Asia settled in this modern country. This led to assimilation of many different cultures, languages and races. There are many festivals celebrated by people from different religions and regions. Most famous among them include, Holi, Diwali, Id-ul-fitr. Plenty of traditional dances varying with different regions exist. There are more than twenty different languages spoken in India. Most Indian people follow Hinduism religion. The Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism religions are originated from India. There are plenty of beautiful temples to see corresponding to each religion followed by India people. The Indian architecture is influenced by ancient Hindu building and the middle aged Persian style monuments. There are many old fortresses and palaces built by many different kings who ruled India at different times. The seventh wonder of the world named Taj Mahal is also located in India.Plenty of saints and preachers were born in India since ancient times. Few of them include Gautama Buddha, Mahavira, Guru Nanak Dev, Mahatma Gandhi. The modern India is famous for its information technology, mathematics, science and engineering education. It is developing at a very fast rate. It has a population of more than 1.2 billion. The young and skillful people of India are not only contributing to India but also to the other developed countries of the world by working and living there. People of India are kind, helpful and respect family values. They try to take care of their parents and joint family culture is very common in India. There is equality of men and women in the modern society. I wish to go to India as soon as possible.
