CSI는 소비자의 경기에 대한 인식이 경기동향 파악 및 예측에 유용한 정보가 된다는 전제하에 작성되며 BSI와 함께 경기예측력 향상을 위해 이용된다.* 개인신용평가시스템(CSS)과거 일정 기간 축적된 고객의 신용거래 행태 등의 정보를 현재 시점에서 통계적으로 분석해 가까운 미래의 고객 신용도를 예측하는 선진국형 개인신용평가 기법 또는 대출심사제도를 말한다. 영문 머리글자를 따서 CSS로 약칭하기도 한다. 이미 개발된 모형을 가지고 시스템을 구축해 효율적인 위험관리는 물론, 시스템 심사를 통한 경비절감과 합리적인 의사결정, 신속하고 일관성 있는 심사지원을 통한 고객만족 실현을 목적으로 도입하였다. 평가 내용은 개인신상 정보, 거래실적 정보, 신용거래불량 정보, 신용한도·신용소진·연체 등이 없는 신용거래 내역 등이다. 이를 통해 얻어진 신용평점이 높으면 신용위험이 적은 우수고객, 낮으면 연체 등 불량을 일으킬 위험이 상대적으로 높은 위험고객으로 분류된다. 이렇게 평점이 정해지면 평점의 높고 낮음에 따라 대출한도 및 이자율을 차등화함으로써 위험을 사전에 예측하고 위험관리와 수익성을 제고할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그 밖에 신용이 우수한 고객을 우대하는 방향으로 갈 수 있고, 본인 인증뿐 아니라 허위기재 등으로 발생하는 사기 방지가 가능하며, 건전한 신용사회 정착과 위험요소의 사전예측했다.* 포보스-그룬트 호(화성 탐사선)러시아의 행성탐사선으로, 화성의 위성 가운데 하나인 포보스의 토양을 채취해 지구에 귀환하는 임무를 띠고 2011년 11월 9일 바이코누르 우주기지에서 발사됐다. 포보스-그룬트 호가 화성궤도 진입에 성공하지 못하자 러시아연방우주청은 포보스-그룬트의 임무 실패를 공식 발표했으며, 모스크바 시간 2012년 1월 15일 오후 9시 45분(한국시간 16일 오전 2시 45분) 태평양 해상에 추락했다고 러시아 공중-우주방어군 공보실이 밝혔다.* 코스타 콩코르디아호이탈리아의 코스타크루즈 소속 초대형 유람선으로, 2012년 1월 13일 이탈리아 서부 서부 티레니아해 질리오섬 부근에서 좌초돼 전복됐다. 유람선은 지난 13일 사고 당시 질리오섬 해안선과 불과 150m밖에 떨어지지 않은 지점을 운항했는데, 이 지점은 수많은 암석으로 울퉁불퉁하고 산호초로 가득해 항해하기가 매우 위험한 지역이다. 코스타 콘코르디아호의 운영사는 선장의 판단착오로 인한 사고로 공식 인정했는데, 이 선장은 승객 대피가 끝나기도 전에 담요에 덮여 있던 구호정을 타고 먼저 탈출한 것으로 확인되어, 조사를 받고 있다.* 유증기휘발유나 시너 같은 기름이 증발하면서 발생한 증기. 2012년 1월 15일, 유류 운반선 두라3호가 굉음과 함께 폭발, 선체가 두 동강 난 채 반쯤 가라앉았다. 해경은 인화성이 높은 탱크 내 유증기가 정전기로 인한 스파크와 만나 폭발하면서 사고가 발생했을 가능성이 높다고 판단하고 있다.* 스핀닥터 (Spin Doctor)정부 수반이나 각료들의 측근에서 국민의 생각이나 여론을 수렴해 정책으로 구체화시키거나 정부 정책을 국민들에게 납득시키는 역할을 하는 정치 전문가. The ECSC came into force in 1954, its aim was to rebuild the economies of post war Europe and promote broader integration in Europe. By breaking down old hostilities between states, particularly France and Germany, the member states could unite in the face ot yet meet all of the criteria for joining. Profile (European Union)⑴ SocialThe European Economic and Social Committee were founded in 1957 under the Treaty of Rome and is the voice of civil society for the EU. It is an advisory body representing employers, trade unions, farmers, consumers and other groups. It defends these groups’ interests in policy discussions with the Commission, the Council and the European Parliament. Any decisions on economic and social policy must be discussed with the Committee and it also has the authority to raise other issues it considers important. The number of ESC members for each EU member state and subsequently placed more emphasis on social policy. The Social Charter of 1989 promoted the free movement of workers, fair pay, better living and working conditions. Social issues are now one of the core policy areas of the EU, governments of member states are required to adhere EU law on issues such as health and safety at work, parental leave, public health, disability and old age. Regional disparities still exist and the gap between the highest and lowest income levels in the EU is double that of the USA. High unemployment levels are still causing concern in the EU and the 1997 Treaty of Amsterdam promoted the objective of high employment as well as incorporating the Social Charter into the treaties. Welfare provision in Europe has many different forms and it would be difficult for the EU to negotiate a trans-national welfare state. Scandinavian countries such as Sweden, Finland and Denmark have work centred, full employment policies; childcare provision is extensive and state e’s national veto over its social security policy; other leaders are keen to adopt a single Social Community. There is increasing concern among members about the declining childbirth rates and increasing elderly population, traditional family structures have changed along with patterns of caring for the elderly. Disagreements over citizenship and social policies contributed to the breakdown of the summit to adopt a constitution in December 2003.⑵ EconomicEconomic policy is geared towards steady growth and more jobs in the EU. While aiming to stabilize the economy in the short term and increase potential growth in the medium term, it also addresses different longer-term challenges, such as population ageing and globalization.Economic policies are suggested and implemented at both the national and European level. Indeed, economic policy is primarily a national responsibility, even if the Treaty declares that it should be regarded "as a matter of common concern" and coordinated within the and that the Member State entering it can grow and prosper in it.Membership of the euro area strengthens the degree of economic interdependence between Member States. Euro-area Member States share the common currency and the single monetary policy conducted by the European Central Bank. The single currency and monetary policy foster closer trade and financial ties. This increasing economic integration encourages closer coordination of economic policies.Main economic forecastsDG ECFIN produces short-term macroeconomic forecasts twice a year, in the spring and autumn. These forecasts concentrate on the Member States, the euro area and the EU, but also include outlooks for candidate countries as well as some non-EU countries.Each forecast has at least a two-year time horizon (with an additional year added each autumn) covering the current year and the next. The SolutionThere are some rules and standards of etiquette in Europe that are puzzling to Americans at first, and we cover some of those in this article. There are also some fairly simple rules of thumb that will spare you some awkward moments and prevent unintentional offenses.DressFor the past few years in the United States, businesses have been tending toward “business casual”- meaning polo shirts and casual slacks for men and women. In the recent few months, most industries are gearing back to a more “dressed up” appearance – blazers and slacks (if not a coat and tie) for men and more corporate pantsuits and dresses for women; although many workplaces still have “casual Fridays.”As far as we know, there are no “casual Fridays” in Europe. A dark-colored coat and tie with a light shirt for men; and more formal skirt and pantsuits for women are de rigeur. Anyone wearing something less formal might be seen as someone who does not take his business very seriously, or who has too little:“Mr. Smith, I’d like to introduce you to Mr. Jones.”If you are standing when an introduction is made, shake hands (firmly, please!) with the person you’re introduced to. If you are sitting, stand up, face the person, and shake hands. Always stand when making introductions yourself.In meetings, formal introductions may be made before the meeting before the participants take their seats, or everyone may go around the table and introduce himself or herself, (while seated) but a meeting is never begun if there are any participants that have not formally met. Follow the lead of the meeting host, or if you are hosting a meeting, ensure that introductions take place before addressing any items of business.LanguageYou may be told by a company that all business will be conducted in English, so there is no need to learn a second language. You will find, however, that there are differences in structure and usage between American English and “European business English.”Language is more formal, aning questions during the entire process. Otherwise they may appear to be uninterested or not knowledgeable.Take Blame and Give CreditIn the 1930s, an American named Dale Carnegie wrote about the practice of taking blame for things that go wrong and giving credit for things that go right. Unfortunately, too few Americans seem to have taken his advice. But Europeans have! (Or maybe it was their practice all along and Mr. Carnegie happened to be the one to pass that along in the States. )By admitting fault quickly and emphatically when you’ve made an error, you immediately take the antagonism out of a problem, and everyone’s focus turns more quickly to a solution rather than fault-finding.Once when I was new at a company and putting together a web page, it was discovered that the search criteria didn’t work as expected. Although I wasn’t sure what was wrong with it, I admitted in an e-mail- “This is the first time I’ve done this, so I may have made an error on the page.” One of my colleaged mode of interaction. Compliments can be very simple- admiring someone’s taste in office furnishings (assuming you really DO like their office) or complimenting someone on their proficiency with the computer or complimenting their analysis of a situation. Many Europeans for whom English is a second language particularly like to be complimented on their grasp of English by Americans. (And often their English is better than ours! See notes on language.)Being genuinely interested in other people, and expressing sincere compliments is a practice that is much more common in Europe but is effective in developing rapport with people anywhere.Differences of OpinionIn the U.S., it is common practice at many companies to have spirited arguments in hallways and boardrooms. People that disagree with one another may use strong language or even raise their voices. In teams of people that have been working together for a long time, this is often seen as a healthy airing of opinions and no one takesfter 5:00 so as not to interfere with “work time.”People in meetings in the U.S. often “multi-task”- answering cell phone calls and pages; or responding to e-mail on their digital devices or taking notes.Meetings in Europe are generally more relaxed. Introductions are never neglected, and meetings often start with a joke or a “brain teaser” puzzle or activity to get everyone involved and thinking together. Meetings are seldom scheduled before 10:00 a.m. or after 3:00 p.m., in deference to people’s family or social activities.Often, a significant amount of meeting time is used in setting up ground rules, determining the purpose and expected outcome of the meeting, and so forth, especially when there are people from several cultures involved.People participating in meetings in Europe are expected to be involved in the conversation, not buried in their digital device or steno pad.
