Please Stop Dumpping It!When I walk to somewhere, I can easily see the sign “No Litter”. At the same time, ironically there is garbage as well. In addition, if the place is always crowded with people coming and going, the place must be turning into a dump. So some people who belonged with The City Hall always say “Do not litter” or “People who litter will be fined.” But most of citizens don’t do it.Who: most of people who are belonging to our society.Any time and Any whereWhy does this happen? Why do you think so?I think the reason is passive thinking. “Don’t draw attention to yourself, Do moderately”, that sound I have heard so many times for life. The words mean “If you draw attention from other people, you will probably make a loss.” Whatever you do, you are responsible for your working. However, if you go along with someone’s act, It makes you feel like decreasing your duty. So It is hard to dump it at first but whoever get used to it shortly.How to improve this problem?The way I think is sending someone who has right to fine a dumping person along the course that many people pass at unexpected time. This come from my experience. Last year, I went to Seoul. I never went there before. As usual, I walked to the street and had a beverage. After drinking, I threw away the can. At that time, I saw a figure approaching toward me. He imposed me to pay 30 thousand won. Although I abused behind him after, I didn’t cast away garbage during my stay there. The key point is two things. First, someone keeps an eye on the movement of people. Second, people can’t expect when they come. These make people keep their awake and public order.The bed habit and awareness simply cannot be changed. I don’t know whether this idea is the best way to improve this situation or not. But this will make people change behaviors
