why so church bigger more bigger?2009273027김일수There are many religions in Korea like Buddhism, Catholicism, Christianity, etc. Especially Christianity vs non-Christianity structure conflict is prominent. One reason for this is because Christianity is the biggest and representative religion in Korea but also Christianity does not approve other religions. Churches are getting bigger and bigger due to the increase of believers in Christianity..Let's look at the night sky of Seoul. Red crosses are seen more often than the stars. It is written in the Bible not to worship an idol. However, Korea is striving to build bigger and fancier churches. This church is 'Halleluiah Church' near Yatap, Bundang. It resembles an egg which symbolizes the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and it broke a mountain into two pieces. I am wondering how it got permission. I guess this building is too elegance and fantastic that Jesus Christ would most likely to advent. It costed 80 billion won to bulid this church. This church is 'Sarang Community Church' in Seocho, Seoul. This church's construction cost was as much as 210 billion won. I am also Christian but it is shocking. Does Jesus Christ come earlier if we build good buildings or come from better buildings? In fact I live in Bundang and I was amazed with 80 billiion won church so I have moved to that church for few weeks but I returned to the original church because it was uncomfortable. Is church Jesus Christ's house, getting huger? Then priests will make great efforts to build bigger churches. Offerings and tithes will be burdensome for Christians that would decrease attendance at church because of responsibilities. Furthermore, they will lose piety and keep away from Jesus Christ. These do nothing but only fancy churches are sin, not expensive church buildings. (무조건 비싼 교회 건물이 죄라는 건 아니다.) We can do so much things with the huge amount of money. Aid, missionary work and donation. The buildings won all the money to do these things. Now it is time to do many things with the buildings. It is time to do more valuable things than the cost of the buildings and work with majesticness of Jesus Christ, not the buildings. It is time to show off our Jesus-loving churches, not fancy-building churches.
