Dear HR manager,I am writing to express my working experience would be suitable for the position of a MCPlus Technician. I worked for the Gorgon Project at HHI’s yard for three years and seven months. My job title was Completions Data Input Clerk. Gorgon Project is a LNG project and fifty-one modules were fabricated at the HHI yard in South Korea. I worked with completions data and contributed to forty seven modules (sailed away) in the project. As a completions clerk, I was in charge of the Inspection Test Records of piping, mechanical, insulation, and general discipline. My main job was administration of the ITRs. I provided the ITRs and Punch close-out forms as per M/C applications requested by the Contractor. When an ITR was submitted as a hard copy with a QC inspector’s signature, completions engineers reviewed them. I scanned the bar-coded ITRs attached them against the relevant tags and then checked the ‘complete’ status in the Completions program Zenator.Administrating test pack ITRs was my main job in the Gorgon project. In contrast with other disciplines, Test Pack numbers were created by allocating CPY isometrics as per test packs created by the contractor HHI. I did my best to ensure the Test Pack numbers were all input into the completions system, and cross-checked if CPY isometrics were allocated correctly against the ITR. In addition, I ensured there was the required approval code for test packs before providing ITRs to the Contractor. Because of the huge data transmitted between the CPY and the Contractor, the Contractor sometimes used to request unapproved test pack ITRs for inspection. To ensure data accuracy, I noted well any completions engineer’s advice. If there were any queries, I brought it up to the completions engineer to take a look at it. For example, if I found a discrepancy between HHI test pack's master register and the CPY’s isometric list, I made a list and emailed a completions engineer for verifying. After getting the completions engineer’s advice, I informed the Contractor to correct their data as per CPY engineer’s instruction.I was willing to communicate between the Contractor's many inspectors and the CPY engineers and to be the focal point. When a HHI QM had a query about completions data or tag verification, I translated emails from Korean to English and forwarded them to CPY engineers. Most of all, I worked together with my team mates to finish daily jobs as far as possible. When big modules were inspected at the same moment, a lot of ITRs of many different disciplines were signed off and created a backlog. I helped my team mates when I had a chance to give my time and made the effort to finish daily jobs together. Thankfully, I got a Gorgon award for working diligently from the commissioning manager.I have previously used safety observation and incident reporting cards to proactively highlight and resolve safety matters. I attended monthly safety meetings, weekly departmental meetings and provided statistics and progress reports for the departmental weekly report.I implemented change management requests within the live database.I am confident to work with technical administrative tasks and to support engineers with data analysis. In addition, I work with responsibility for completing the project in time. Thank you for your time reviewing my resume and I would welcome any opportunity to interview my qualifications and fit for the position.Sincerely,Young Eun ParkGloria ParkBongsuro 1, Jeonha-Dong, Dong-Gu, UlsanCell: 010-0000-0000 Email: Hyperlink "mailto:nnnnnn@hotmail.com" nnnnnn@hotmail.com
