There is a regular demonstration on every Wednesday in front of the Japanese embassy of Korea since 1992 which stands for the victims of military sexual slavery to get the official reparation and apologies from Japanese government for their crimes in the World War ll. The victims who are over 60s to 80ish have lived together where named the house of sharing (나눔의집) and they insist their recovery of lost rights and reparation continuously. Most of these old ladies have lost their family and home because of their forced conscription as “comfort women” for the Japanese militaries. They were forcibly dragged to the “comfort stations” which were spread out over the southern-east Asia and got immeasurable pain and incurable physical and psychological damages. Who are going to compensate these women who have been taken out of their entire life without whose willingness?
