본문내용

Agriculture is a major business in Alberta. Breeding animals need an enormous amount of water. Water resources and meat industry have a close relation between each other. Most of our potable water comes from the ground. The meat industry produces an enormous amount of manure. Farmers use great amount of pesticide to grow crops. Water pollution destroys nature’s ecosystem all over the world. Some countries suffer from severe water shortage. The water is becoming precious like diamonds. The shortage of water resources is not because of quantity, but because of insufficient use. Most people do not care about cause and effects of diminishing water resources. Moreover, there are not many regulations and lack of concern. Agriculture is one of the most important businesses in Alberta; thus, both government and citizens should be concerned with their water resources.
