    South Korea is the first country to become a giver from a country that received aid. Kim (2009) explains that for 30 years after the Korean War, Korea achieved rapid growth and ranked 14th in the world economy. However, rapid growth is accompanied by growing pains. Because population growth and infrastructure growth take place in such a short time, large and small problems naturally arise. Of course, Korean architecture could not avoid these problems. One of them is that the lifespan of buildings in Korea is too short.
