INTRODUCTION:
The Toro Company was founded in 1914 in Bloomington, Minnesota and has expanded to almost ninety different countries. Toro’s product range is diverse, offering consumer lawn care, irrigation, snow removal, golf/sports, fields/municipalities maintenance, rental, and much more. We have specified our scope to Toro’s place in the irrigation industry on a global level due to the company’s focus on growing its irrigation division through emphasis on innovation, research and development, and strategic acquisitions. Currently, Toro is engaged in a very competitive irrigation industry. It faces numerous regional and local players, large private companies, and public rivals, which include: Deere & Co., Lindsay Corporation, and Jain Irrigation.

The key success factors in this market include, but are not limited to: strong access to raw materials and long-term customers; extensive engineering, innovation and research;
