Mass media is shaping the future of the world arguably more than any other influence in modern civilization.
The future of the world is literally children and youth.
Children will be the future generation that will grow to do everything from government positions leading the country, to medical positions taking care of people when people are no longer able to take care of themselves. Unfortunately, mass media has a negative influence on the younger generation including shaping their opinions.
This paper will state that mass media is the most widely used tool to communicate information to the youth in modern culture, and mass media is having a negative effect on younger generation.
The importance of social relations with the youth, how mass media is utilized in these social relations, cultural norms and accepted opinions, and mass media’s negative influences will support this statement.
Sociologists hold the belief that people are a product of social relations since the norms
