Cross-Strait relations mean the relations between the Taiwan and China political entities, which are separated by the Taiwan Strait in the west Pacific Ocean. Cross strait relations has been used as two sides of concerning about Taiwan and China, not referred as China-Taiwan relations or PRC-ROC relation. . It then moves to examine the basis of recent improvements in relations between Taipei and Beijing. Ma‟s policy of maintaining the status quo
