Germany also known as Deutschland is a federal parliamentary republic located in Western-central Europe next to its neighbour countries Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, France, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic and also Poland. Germany is one of the largest countries in all of Europe with an area size of 357,027 square km. Germany is divided into 16 states. Germany has all types of different landscapes including tall mountains that are mostly located in the south of the country, sandy plain areas that are located towards the north, many forests that are located within the west and agricultural land that is found in the east side of the country. Before Germany was discovered it was a land that was full of forests. Germany is an old country and a lot of the cities have an old medieval time environment.
The Germany Flag is a three coloured horizontally striped flag that consists of the colours black, red and yellow. At first, at the end of the 19th century the national flag had stripes of the colours black, white and red, this was when Germany was unified.
