The classification systems substantially reflect social and political perspectives and objectives. The ways that we classify, organize, and relate the information affect the way that people understand the information. As information architecture, we have to organize information that people can find the solutions for their questions by supporting browsing and directly searching. Our aim is to design organization and labeling systems that users can easily use. However, in large web site, what users navigate is very difficult. And what the people who design the sites make it easy to search information are very hard. Those things focus on challenges of organizing information.
In recent years, increasing attention has been focused on the challenge of organizing information. Over the past century, people have suffered from the difficulties of organizing information. In order to resolve the difficulties, the field of librarianship has been largely devoted to the tasks of organizing information and providing access to information. However, responsibility of organizing, labeling, and providing access to information is truly fell in the laps of librarians (e.g. DDC). But, with the appearance of internet, internet can provide freedom of publishing information to users. However, on the one hand, it seriously burdens them with responsibility of organizing information.
